This product is just fine. I don't know what it would be like if I used my impact on it. I used a Johnson Bar on my socket and lubed up the seal and put some penetrating oil on the inside surfaces where the crank meets the harmonic balancer. I used the short bolts so there was probably an inch and a half between the Plate and the balancer. The car is 58 years old and the balancer is probably original. It took some effort to get it budge but it came off and there was no noticeable wear or bending to the puller set. For my use, it's perfect for the job.

Used 3 times, and on the 3rd time I was taking off a harmonic balancer with a little force, not very hard and it started to strip but i needed this balancer off so I kept going. Well after inspection and trying to re-align the screw, they both stripped by hand... Obviously very weak materials. Not too impressed, thought I would save a few bucks, but, I should have bought a better one!!!

I am sure that under normal use that this was a good kit. However, when I tried to remove the flywheel off my 11 HP B&S engine, the 5/16 bolts bent. Bought some shorter 5/16 bolts and tried but the main plate of the tool started to bend and the flywheel would not budge. If I didn't know better I would swear the flywheel was welded to the crank shaft.
