I bought one for each phase and the colored lens were bright enough and colorful enough to tell which phase was which . . I also bought the round display for cycles per second, to be sure my genset was doing what I wanted it to . . all three sensors only took up the space of a 4 square junction box cover

I purchased two of these to use on my boat. They are really bright and reasonably accurate compared to my VOM readings.Without instructions, I thought these would be powered by 12vdc. After two frustrating hours I was ready to send them back and I starting looking for a replacement. A few of the listings included a photo of the wiring diagram which finally clued me in that they require an AC connection.
