I added a external plug to my house for our generator and bought this plug for it. I went the size I did because I didn't want the generator too close to the HVAC system and not so far away someone could just walk off with it.

Bought this particular cord because it was the right length and it was yellow and the reviews were decent. It seems to be a good cord, flexible, plug ends seem solid and durable. It hooked up and twisted and locked like it should. It came with a plastic cord carrier which was a nice touch, but the design of the carrier makes it prone to coming undone and is difficult to secure. It also came with a bag that I probably will never use. Another similar cord I have has a dust cap for the receptacle end which I would have liked.

I couldn't find a 15 ft. Cable locally. This Cable was perfect for the generator and hook up at the meter.

Purchased this to connect our Champion generator to a plug connected to the breaker box to complete our generator backup project. Performed perfectly and now we are ready for the next power outage!
