Product worked as expected. I used it to power a 220 TIG welder and a MIG welder. Both welders plugged in to the adapter with no problem.

Best price and quality I have found for this specialty plug. Works perfect to power my plasma cutter on 240v using my generator. This one should last me for good.

I can’t ding many stars as this works just not my application. If you are adapting a 120v one phase generator to a 120v one phase generator transfer switch only half of your circuits will power up. Look specifically in the specs for bridged hots. Hopefully saved some headaches. I’m grateful for the circuits I did have after Hurricane Beryl and the power out in Houston. I’ve since corrected my mistake.

I had a buddy come out over the weekend to help me with an exhaust repair that required some welding. He brought his MIG welder, and I bought this adapter cord to go from the 220V outlet on my wall to the one that his welder requires. It worked great!

Our shop only had a 30 amp twist lock outlet and we needed to use a welder. Instead of swapping the plug on the welder, we bought this adapter and it worked great.

This is a good quality adapter for adapting from an RV type socket 3 wire (120 Volt) on a generator (TT-30R) to a 240 volt cable 4 wire (L14-30R). It is wired correctly to send 120 power using both normally energized conductors in the 240 volt cable. Works great!
