Bought last year, didn't need til today to move two fifty-lb bags of dogfood. The buckle that controls strap length snapped on first usage on the first bag. Utterly useless.

The product did serve the purpose for awhile, but then abruptly broke at the sling adjustment slide. They both broke during one weekend of heavy lifting of 50 to 75 pound boxes. Nothing even close to the 500 pound limit. It seem like it should have been manufactured using a strong tensile strength metal. After the 1st one broke I tried to be extra careful so the 2nd one wouldn't suffer the same fate, but to no avail.

We were moving a bookcase headboard, so it's tall with nothing to grab onto. These helped by giving us something to grab. It was especially helpful when we had two people on one end - we each had a handle to grab and divided the weight really well. I would like the handles to be a little padded.

I bought this to try to carry one of those mattress in a box from the ground floor upstairs to my bedroom. The bed was supposedly only 90 lbs but it's a big box that's awkward to carry by myself so I ordered these moving straps.Even when extended all the way, it was still a little hard getting it upstairs. I was carrying it up a few steps and then resting it down. About half way up the stairs I hear this snap and saw that the part that helps extend the strap break (since it's made of plastic). Luckily I can place the box down and get the other strap and carefully carry the box the rest of the way up and to the bedroom.Taking away two stars since one strap snapped even before I finished carrying the thing I bought it for. (And it wasn't even over 100 lbs!) Three stars since at least this came with two straps and the last was able to finish the job successfully.

I can't begin to count how many times I've used these straps. I started with one just to try it out. Immediately I wished I had another. They are so handy I bought more and have one in my car and one in my truck as well as the house. I would like to have a pair that are longer for bigger, more awkward to carry stuff. Like the things where there just isn't anything to hang on to. Idk how much weight the handles can take but so far we have had no issues.
