This medium bag fits most djembes, ashikos, bugarabus, or dumbeks with maximum OSD of 12.5" (including tuning hardware) and 22" tall. Please make sure you measure your drum to be certain of the size bag you need before you purchase! Features include: * famous Kente cloth print from western Africa * triple-layer construction: cotton cloth, inside and outside, with foam padding inbetween * zipper and reinforced shoulder straps * tie strings to secure the belly of the drum * medium-duty grade offers some protection from elements and abrasion, but is not suited for professional level protection or airline travel * although all bags are multi-colored kente print, colors and patterns of bag or straps may have variations from picture

The plastic zipper broke after only 4 uses. I’d rather pay a little extra for something that lasts.

I'm pleased with this bag/carrier. The zipper opens either end and is made so the zipper could have a lock attached. Handles are reinforced with web along with where handle is attached to bag. Also a draw sting around the waist part of drum. Good padding. I love that the inside is made from a cotton wheat bag which adds character of the bag

I received the djembe bag, it fits really snug, as in, it almost doesn't go on completely. A few inches of more room would be better, but it will probably stretch a little, over time. The print is more yellow/black, but in the photo it was green and red. Would've liked the brighter colors, but that's okay. It protects the drum and has nice carrying handles.

I have an oddly sized handmade drum from Senegal. The 10 inch bag is too small, and this bag is too big. I would rather air on the side of being too big then too small. I actually need a shorter bag with a little bit wider head, , About 11 inches. This will work for now. This is the second bag I have purchased from Africa hardwood project and I like the fact that the money goes to help support those in need so it will not be returned. He could use a little more padding. After measuring the bag because it seemed too big, they actually sent me a large bag which fits my 14 inch head djembe. It was not the item that I needed but I will not return it. Instead, I will look for a smaller bag but I am not very happy that I got the wrong bag so I would advise those Who are looking for a specific size for their djembe to make sure it is the correct bag when you receive it.

This does not look as "authentic" as the picture looks. It's a low-quality (polyester?) printed fabric. Ok for a small ashiko drum.
