As a small girl who hunts alone, this has been a total game-changer. It’s lightweight, easy to use, and incredibly effective—even over rough terrain. No knots or clips, just slip it on and go. The padded handle saves my hands, and the compact carrying case makes it a quick grab. This strap literally means the difference between getting a deer out on my own or waiting hours for help.

The Allen Pack-Away Deer Drag comes in 3 pieces: 2 simple drag straps (each about 4 ft long) and a carrying pouch. The two drag straps are identical. Attaching the strap to the animal is as simple as passing a loop end through the other loop end. Both the working end and standing end are sewn-in loops. The standing end is used as the lightly padded handle after it passes through the working end loop that attaches to the animal's antlers, neck, fore leg or legs. Two people can drag the animal together, with each pulling on their individual drag strap. There's practically no bulk to the straps other than the sturdy, blaze orange fabric. If one wanted to create a more sled-like drag, simply add an inexpensive poly tarp and use zip ties or carabiner clips to close up the front and rear ends. The front end can be fastened to the drag strap using a zip tie or carabiner. While the product description doesn't specify a weight limit of the animal, depending on the strength and height of the hunter as well as the type of terrain, 150-200 lbs would be a likely limit for a single person.

I haven't had a chance to really use this yet, but I really like that case and that I can attach it to my belt. The straps are sturdy and should have no problem holding up. Great value and definitely worth the price in my mind.

This product is made well and the stitching is good quality to last many trips through the woods. The straps fit well into the carry case. This is a great addition to our hunting.

While I'm sure these will function just fine for their intended purposes, these are really handy for any kind of pulling job you might run into. The feel strong, and well made. I keep them in my camping gear for various tasks, like pulling a log out of the woods. The carrying case they come with is a nice touch as well.

So I am not a hunter. But I do have a heifer due to calve next month and realized I didn't have any OB chains or straps in case she has a difficult delivery. When I ran across these I knew that they would work perfectly for that if needed. The straps are nice thickness with padded handles and come in a little case. I hope I don't have to use them but I feel better having them just in case.

My son has started hunting so I picked this up to aid him with hunting next fall. As such, we've not used this in the field just yet. This appears to be a handy set of pull straps. Versatile offering optional drag ability for single or duel person use. The set did come with basic directions for use which are easy to follow and the straps are ready to use with no other attachments needed as the cinch style simply loops onto itself and the weight of the deer will cause the strap to tighten. These straps are 48 inches long before use, which offers decent pull distances for most hunters, but should be considered based on your height as I feel they may impact hunters with a larger distance from hand to ground. I wish that optional length adjustments would have been nice. The straps appear pretty durable and not likely to snag in underbrush. The blaze orange offers easy sight and identification making these pretty hard to loose in the vegetation. The handle loops on these are padded, but not much which I suspect under weight might not be too comfortable especially over longer distances. I personally would opt for a set of padded gloves with these. The case is pretty nice and well made. It feels durable and also seemingly not likely to snag with use. It has a velcro style closure which latches decently and is easy to open. The one issue I found is that the straps, even rolled from factory, fit pretty snug and the bag doesn't close very easily with the full fit. The back belt loop accommodates less than a 2 inch belt which should also be considered with use.Overall, this seems like a decent set especially for short distance use. Considering the present price of $7.30, it's rather hard to beat that price. This feels like a decent option especially if hunting budget.

My normal drag line is an eight foot by one inch lifting strap that has loops on both ends. It works really well. After slipping one end through the other I can hold the other end and bring it up and over my right shoulder. I can then use downward force in front of me which will pull up on the other end. This helps when going over logs and rocks.I had my doubts this one would work as well. The material is about half the thickness but I think it will be strong enough for deer. My concern was this is a two pack. And each one is about four feet long. So the length pretty much matches my old one. I tested it using a piece of furniture and lo and behold it felt the same going up and over my shoulder.I think this will work out just fine. Plus it's lighter which makes it easier to pack. Since it comes with a carrying pouch I plan on attaching it to the outside of my pack. That'll save even more room inside for other stuff.
