i haven't yet used this on an actual deer but i used it to drag bundles of wood for shelter and fire. and for that, it worked fantastically. the strap adjusts easily and stays where you put it. meaning the adjusting buckle doesn't slip or move.

Strap got it done this season drug my 8 point at least a mile with it. Strap itself is well made and durable. I can see getting many seasons out of it. Handle was easy to grip and pull. Couldn't ask for a better product at this price.

I got to test this out shortly after receiving it. Just a small doe (80 pounds) but it worked fairly well. It seems to be made from decent materials that should last a while under normal use. I would give it a 5 if the handle was wider. It's padded well and comfortable to hold but I personally prefer to use both hands to drag out a deer but this handle did not allow for both hands to fit in it comfortably. I'll keep it in my hunting gear bag but I'll probably only use it for smaller deer that I can drag with one hand.

Got this as a spare and I must say I was disappointed. Compared to the one I have (that works), the material is very thin, short for the purpose, and the handle was smaller than anticipated. I do like the reflective stripe, and color which will stand out and make it easy to find in the woods, but I don't recommend it for dragging your trophy. If you have long legs, and are lucky enough to get a deer with a good rack, you are going to be pulling the horns into the back of your legs. I'm going to put it on my kayak.

Using this makes dragging a deer much easier. Instead of being hunched over and straining your back and arms you can stand upright and drag the deer much easier and it relieves some of the resistance by bringing the head up higher. I wouldn't recommend putting it around the racks as one could come off.
