My wife used this espresso machine for the first time over the weekend. Neither of us have experience with making espresso. The machine comes with fairly good instructions. The first cup my wife made tasted great, but was too cold. The second cup was not so great. She has since made some dirty chai lattes using it and has had great success. Definitely seems like a great addition to our kitchen. Just a heads up though, it is a bit noisy.

Making espresso at home just got a whole lot better with this AMZCHEF Semi-Automatic Espresso Maker! My mornings have completely changed since bringing this machine into the kitchen. The 20-bar pressure really makes a difference, pulling rich, flavorful shots with a beautiful crema on top. I love the visual LCD display, which makes it easy to adjust settings and monitor the process.Steaming milk for cappuccinos and lattes is a breeze with the strong steam wand—it froths evenly, giving that creamy texture I always look for. It’s compact enough to fit neatly on the counter without taking up too much space, and the stainless steel design gives it a premium feel. The adjustable temperature control is a nice touch, letting me fine-tune my coffee just the way I like it.Overall, this espresso machine is a great balance of performance and ease of use. The first thing we were looking for in an expresso machine was a pretty sleek look. This one gives just that and more!! We love the stainless steel finish because it's very easy to keep clean and it looks very expensive and classy. We also like that it's not super bulky either. It was very easy to use and it fast to make my macchiatos. This help your coffee experience by 100%

Coming from years of drinking K-cup coffee, I’m used to inserting a pod, pressing a button, and having coffee ready in 60 seconds. No fuss, no effort. But K-cup coffee is mediocre at best and you have few options to customize the taste of the coffee.I’ve used commercial espresso machines that grind the coffee for you, brew the espresso, froth the milk, mix it all in, and dispose of the grounds automatically. Those machines are great but they take up a huge amount of counter space and often cost thousands of dollars.This machine sits in between these two extremes. It’s semi-automatic, meaning you still have to grind the coffee and pack it up into the tray, but then you can just press a button and let the machine figure out how to produce the espresso. You get a choice of one or two shots. I always go with two because once I go to the effort to get everything set up, I might as well make the double shot to enjoy.The quality of espresso that comes from the machine is excellent. It produces a nice crema and a consistent flavor. I use Lavazza espresso beans but any espresso bean you prefer should be fine.Once you brew the espresso, you need to prepare the milk. This is where it gets tricky. The first few times I tried it and ended up with milk splattered all over my kitchen. The trick is to insert the wand just deep enough into the milk container to get it to froth. Once it froths you can insert the wand all the way down to finish heating up the milk. After a few tries I decided that it’s easier to microwave my milk first for about 15 seconds, and then just use the steamer to froth it up a bit.The steamer does an OK job frothing, but it’s probably the weakest part of the machine. Other machines have their own milk container and tube and tend to be better at frothing, but the trade off is they take more effort to clean once you are finished. With the steamer you just run it for a few seconds to push water through it and then wipe it down with a wet cloth.I’ve found that making espresso with this machine is more art than science. It takes some experimenting to figure out what coffee, how much coffee, how much milk, how long to brew, etc. But if you’re willing to put in the effort to experiment, you will end up with a great tasting cappuccino or latte at a fraction of the cost of going to Starbucks.

I bought this to make coffee for my wife. I bought one of those commercial size ones earlier and basically became our in-house barista. I loved that machine but it took up SOOOO much room. When I saw this one I jumped on it as I wanted to still keep making her good coffee and reclaim counter space.Mission accomplished! It does pretty everything the counter hog did before and a much smaller footprint. I made 2 cups of espresso, each with a different machine, and my wife (the coffee snob from Europe) couldn't tell the difference. I used water fresh from glaciers in Norway along with those monkey recycled coffee beans (you know the ones I am talking about) freshly ground, and she couldn't tell them apart. Nah, just kidding, except for my wife not telling them apart. I used filtered water and did grind the beans from a sustainably sourced coffee plantation and my wife liked them both.Not time to pawn of the bigger one and keep the counter space. Is this one the perfect espresso maker? No. Is it better than my other one? Probably not but it was close enough my wife the European coffee snob couldn't tell the difference. So a solid 5 stars from me.

This is my first “manual” espresso machine. I have been using a Nespresso Original. This is fairly easy to use, a little trial and error to see how you like it. But overall, intuitive and makes some great tasting coffee. Love all the options available on here and it really does not take up much room on my counter. It is actually a bit smaller than my Keurig machine! Very happy with this machine!
