I’ve had them for a year. Over time the lids loose their ability to securely close. Im TIRED of looking for glass storage containers! They ALL are bad. Maybe the best are OXO snap lids. Im not sure. I have some that haven’t broken, but I don’t use them daily like the anchor. OXO is also more expensive. Maybe I should invest in some 4cup OXO (I have 8 cup), idk. But these anchor brand, I use daily for work, and I have spills all the time.

Very high quality product. Thick glass. Very nice lids. (Never put lid in dish washer or microwave. I haven't, so that's just my advice. I'm afraid I'd ruin them.)They are leak proof, easy to use and stackable. Great transportability. Keeps food fresh.

I have a regret from buying two of these. When placing my order the option was available to order between 1 and 3 for purchase. I regret I only ordered two for myself. These are a heavy glass. Well made. The silicone lid is also well made and fits snuggly yet it's not difficult to put on.

I must have almost 100 of these in various sizes. They last for ages, the lids seal tightly (although no, you don't want to turn them upside down) and both the containers and the lids survive a bazillion trips through the dishwasher. I do a lot of batch cooking and store things in a large freezer. Between the impermeable glass and the excellent seal on the lids, freezer burn and deterioration is a never. Now and then I find something that's 2 or 3 years old. It's always in perfect shape and tastes like it was frozen yesterday. They are also great for storing leftovers in the fridge. I label both the freezer stuff and the leftovers by sticking some masking tape on the lids and writing out the contents and date with a sharpie. Pro tip: fold over one end of the masking tape and it becomes a little handle for peeling off the tape when it's time to wash up. I learned that one working as a stagehand decades ago.

EDIT: I ordered more of this item and just like in other reviews they are not longer sending the lids that are advertised. They are not the TrueSeal lids. They are the flimsy plastic lids that are not water tight and break after a few uses. This is false advertising and a waste of time now that I have to send them back. These are my favourite anchor hocking food container type. Lids hold up

Love these containers. They keep everything I put in them fresh. I use them in the refrigerator and also for storing my dry cereals - they keep my cereals crisp. The covers always stay on so nothing leaks. I find a use for all the different sizes. I do think this style is the best there is and the price is very reasonable.

These glass containers have been a game-changer for our kitchen! They’re super easy to clean, and I love how they’re stackable, which makes organizing so much easier. The glass is sturdy and high-quality, and knowing that we’re reducing our plastic use by using them feels great. They’re perfect for storing leftovers or meal prepping, and I appreciate that they don’t hold onto odors or stains like plastic containers can. If you’re looking for a practical and sustainable storage solution, these are ideal!

After years of buying-using-tossing cheap plastic storage containers, I decided to upgrade to quality glass versions. I bought a couple of small bowl containers and liked them so much I went for this bigger set. OK for the freezer, oven, microwave, and dishwasher, made of nice heavy glass with a one-piece lid that fits tight but is easy to remove. And it looks beautiful in the refrigerator or on the dining table! As for size: the big bowl can hold an entire cut-up melon, the medium bowl holds a bag of baby carrots or a container of strawberries, and the smallest is good for prepped foods like diced onions, peppers, etc. I also use these to quickly microwave side dishes for dinner: they hold enough food for several people, look pretty to pass around the table, and store any leftovers as well. I prefer this one-piece rubber lid to the "snap-on" style or the ones with a separate gasket; it's easier to open (and for lazy kids to close), and it's still airtight.I've had other Anchor Hocking glassware in the past, and the quality has always been consistently good. Yes, it seems a little pricey, but over the long haul it's worth the investment in my experience. I've already started buying the other sizes and shapes to slowly replace all my old containers. Eventually my refrigerator, freezer, and pantry might all look as beautiful as the modern homes I see in films and in magazines!
