These baskets can be used for a variety of applications from storing items on a shelf to transporting garden vegetable back into the house. The baskets have a thin metal frame that is woven with a plastic cordage. The dimensions given for the basket are pretty much accurate, and each basket weighs 190 grams (6.7 ounces).Being made of plastic and metal allows me to rinse food items under running water. I wouldn't want to rinse a natural wood fiber basket in water for fear of deformation to the wood. The way that these baskets are constructed, they feel as if they can hold up to the occasional abuse.

Bought originally to store my cat's toys, but he had too many of them so I had to use them elsewhere. However, I chose not to return these because I felt they fit my room, and they are very durable! Used to hold some books and used the other to hold my perfumes and jewelry tray. They add such a warm cozy vibe to the room!

Well made basket. The size is a bit small, but it will function fine. I needed something to set on our pouf. This isn’t aesthetically what I was hoping for, but works for my morning coffee! Might use it as a bread basket for family dinner.
