I ordered this to occupy my granddaughter during spring break and beyond. The box/case itself is absolutely stunning- gorgeous wood, two drawers and a spot for everything! When she saw it her jaw dropped and she was THRILLED. I highly recommend this set for your favorite, budding artist!

It's awesome that they managed to fit so many art supplies in this package, but honestly I would expect so spend as much money or more on a lesser quality art case that doesn't come with any art supplies at all. (and I have in the past!)The case is pretty large, but very well organized. I love that the drawers are removable so you can just grab the relevant drawer for the medium you'll be working in. The only possible downside is that it's quite large (bigger than my cat and my laptop) and a little heavy, and a few of the items got slightly lodged out of position in transit. But otherwise no notes!

This is a great set for a budding artist who isn’t sure where their niche is, or someone who likes to dabble in a bit of everything. I ordered it mostly for the pencils and pastels, but I’ll definitely be playing around with the paints. At only $25.99, you’re getting a great set that’s easily 5 stars.Now, the reason I’m taking one star off is because of the design up of the draws. One of the reasons I ordered this was the advertising: “The sturdy art case keeps everything organized, making it easy to carry anywhere.” I spend a ton of time traveling around different parks and hanging in the Everglades. My plan was to take this set with me and work on the go. Unfortunately, the draws, which hold the paints and crayons don’t lock, so any movement and they’re opening. Super inconvenient for traveling.That being said- if you plan on just keeping it in an art studio or bedroom, it’s a great set to invest in.

Beautiful set! I love the wooden case that this art set comes in, it really makes it feel special, and the drawers are such an elegant touch and so useful. I can't speak to the quality of the actual supplies, as this is a intended for a gift, but they will probably be fine for a beginner level artist. The one downside that I will note is that the insert on the top opening part of the lid is made of flimsy sort of plastic, so once that breaks, you will lose the storage capacity of that the top lid. The other trays are also made of plastic, but those areas will still maintain their storage usefulness even without the trays later on. Lovely set!

I love the attractive box. It is very sturdy. Very nice presentation, nicely arranged, with shallow drawers. A young artist will like this set (most of it).The colored pencils are a nice variety of shades but they make very pale marks. None of them match the strong shade painted on the shaft. Just fine for kids. One florescent pink pencil draws soft pink.The oil pastels are very waxy. The can be used as crayons but with no tip.I like the watercolors and 2 brushes. Very strong colors. The brushes are useful.The set includes drawing pencils and a gum eraser, sandpaper, and a sharpener.Six nice brushes are useful for acrylic painting.24 useful acrylic paint tubes. Colors include very shiny metallic silver and gold. They are not thick and creamy, like professional paints. The paint is similar to water colors. But very fun for a young artist.60 crayons are very waxy, hard to layer. Not great but young ones might like them.Overall, not for pros, but for the price, this is a nice set.

This is an amazing assortment for introducing somebody to art. It includes almost all mediums. Too many sets like these include watercolors (which are very difficult, disheartening, and unforgiving to use), and omit acrylic (much easier). Even comes with canvas boards and sponges for dabbing on paint. Fantastic value in this set. You could make some lovely mixed media works with this.
