Attic Ladder Pull Down System Kit Attic Staircase Pull-Down System ToolI've wanted one of these forever to replace the pull cord to our pull down attic stairs that was previously painted white. The cord gets dirty with use and looks messy hanging into room. This is a pretty straightforward project, and looks so much nicer than the cord hanging into room. The extension handle is very easy to put together and you just leave any section out if you don't need the longer length. Personally, I wish the rubber handle on end of pole was brown instead of blue, but that's not a big deal for me, as we will be storing the handle out of site in nearby laundry room. The pole feels very sturdy and the screws for the hook seem long enough to keep this secured into attic door through usage. This looks 100x better than old cord with a knot on the end!
