Unnecessarily long and expensive. Just buy the small adapter that fits on a one inch ladder pole. Works better.

Starlink cable will not fit through the elbow pole holder basically this mount is useless for intended purpose !

The OD of the pipe exceeds the opening on the top bracket. You must shove the pipe through it, and then assemble the satellite desk on top, and do the reverse to disassemble. Poor engineering.

Before I mounted the brackets on my RV ladder, I tried to fit the bottom pole into the bottom bracket. Much to my dismay, the holes in the bottom of the pipe didn’t line up with the spring loaded pin on the mount. If you look at the first two photos you can see that the holes weren’t drilling at the appropriate distance from the bottom of the pipe. The horizontal line is from the pin scratching the pipe, and you can see that the holes are off by a little bit. The third photo shows how I used a drill bit to elongate one hole to see if I could get the pin on the bracket to lock in. Success! I repeated the hole modification to the remaining holes, testing each hole before I went to the next.I shouldn't have had to do this, and many wouldn’t have tried.Following the modification I mounted the brackets on the ladder and my altered setup is now working. Maybe the quality control folks will look closer before they send out the product.

I ordered this Pole Mount to use with a Starlink Gen 3. This unit is designed for Gen 2. However, the Gen 3 pole mount adapter I procured separately fits this pole perfectly. There is no play, as the adapter is an exact match for the pole diameter. This is an alternative to the name brand unit, as it costs a good bit less. But it seems almost the same as that other product. There are two mounts that attach to the RV ladder. The top mount has a diagonal cutout which allows the pole to be inserted from the ground. This required some creative positioning of the brackets. I would have liked to mount these brackets off the right side of the ladder. But this position prohibited the pole from inserting into the diagonal slot in the upper bracket. The diagonal slot was going in the wrong direction. And installing the pole mount brackets on the left (inside) side of the ladder wont work due to my bike rack. So I was able to mount the pole directly off the back of the ladder, which allows full use of the diagonal slot to install and remove the pole. The pole does get in the way of climbing up the ladder just a bit, but its not a deal killer by any stretch. I guess this is the nature of the beast with this type of bracket.I do like that the bottom of the pole has pin holes going all the way around, so you can lock the pole rotations where the satellite has the best alignment. And the build quality seems to be quite excellent. One small gripe is that the included travel bag for the poles is a bit small. It just fits the poles. So when I installed my Gen 3 pole adapter, I was no longer able to close the bag all the way.Overall this has been an excellent solution for mounting my Starlink.

Be sure to read the description more carefully than I did LOL! We have a Gen 3 Starlink rig and this states clearly that it's for Gen 2 ... my bad. That said, I replaced the included dish mount with a Gen 3 pole/pipe adapter, and it worked out perfectly! It is super-easy to setup and mounts the pole very securely. The materials used seem to be of great quality, and it's design and function couldn't be better. Now all they need to do is make one for the Gen 3! (They told me it is currently being developed.)

Tried to fit the cable into the holes on the side of the mount. It wouldn't fit so I sent it back. A few days later it occured to me that the cable was not supposed to go through the holes. So I would like to say this thing would have worked great if I had thought it through a bit more. I will be reordering it shortly!
