Amazing view from inside the net. I've had 2 brands before that were hard to see through. Granted I didn't have this awesome ring that keeps the net off my face. Impressed enough to leave a review right when I put it on

I love being outdoor, but really (really) dislike being a food source to mosquitoes. So, when I saw this mosquito hat from Aventik, I ordered it. The description said that it was a mosquito jacket and pants, but the pictures only showed the hat, so I really only expected to get the hat, and my expectations were met. No jacket or pants. That doesn’t bother me as I was excited about the hat and just OK with the (non-existent) rest.I have some mosquito nets that are designed to go over a hat of yours that you’re wearing. They work fine, but this is so much larger and keeps the net so much further away from my head that it’s awesome. The hat and net come in a small disk bag. When you pull it out it pops open to the full-sized hat and net. I initially said, “how am I going to get this back in that small bag?!” The seller provides you with simple photo directions on how to do it. I’ve done it once and don’t need the directions anymore. Just a hint: Be sure to be careful when zipping the hat/net back in its bag so you won’t catch the netting in the zipper and possibly tear it. It seems quite strong, but why bother test it?It is snowing outside my home right now. It’s not prime mosquito weather to check out how this works, but I went outside with it anyway (I wonder what the neighbors thought if they saw me). Not a single mosquito got through that net! I did stay a bit warmer than without the net, which was nice in winter but will be a bit more difficult in summer, but I’m willing to deal with that warmth much more than biting mosquitoes!
