This sloth stuffed animal is so adorable and I love that it has Velcro arms to attach it wherever you’d like! Unfortunately, I found the machine not very intuitive to use, and it would activate when my baby wasn’t crying, but wouldn’t turn on when she was crying. I wish the mechanics work better, because it is definitely cute!

The Shusher Sloth has been a lifesaver during nap and bedtime routines. Its gentle shushing sound calms my toddler quickly, and I love that it automatically kicks back on when they start fussing. The soft plush makes it a cuddly companion, and the hook lets me easily attach it to the stroller or crib. It’s portable and perfect for travel too. The volume control and timer are simple to use and customizable. A smart and comforting little helper for busy parents and restless toddlers alike.

I ordered this Cute White Sounds Sloth, because it looked cute, and I was not disappointed. It is bigger than I thought it would be. It has soft hook and loops on the hands and feet, so it can attach to a crib rail, stroller, or my arm. It came with batteries already installed. I just had to pull the tab, at the red button, to make it work. The sound was loud and my family members didn’t like it. I discovered that the noise can be turned up or down, by holding in the red button on the egg shaped sound maker. I held it in and it increased, but I kept holding it in and it started getting quieter, until it was silent. At any volume, it can be pushed once, to turn off the noise. The sound maker is shaped like a an egg that is flat on one side. It is about the size of a duck egg. It can be removed from the sloth and the sloth can be machine washed and dried. The egg can be washed with a damp cloth or a sanitizing wipe. The face on this sloth is machine embroidered on, which means there are no small pieces to come loose. The instructions say not to put this in your baby’s crib. This sloth is very soft, like a kitten.

I actually really like it. It’s a super cute sloth, very soft and plush even with the shusher inside. Works like a charm calming baby and even got my 3 year old to fall asleep.Unfortunately gave it 3 stars simply because it doesn’t do what it claimed to do which is cry activation. My baby will be screaming bloody murder right next to it and it will not turn on.

I ordered this for when my new grandson comes for a visit. We didn't have anything like this when my kiddos were babies, so this is something new for me! The sloth is kind of ugly/cute - I'm on the fence (LOL), but it is super soft and my grandson seems to like it! I like that the shusher unit is removeable so that you can toss the sloth in your washing machine! The shusher unit seems very durable and uses a Phillips screw to lock the battery compartment - and it uses 2 AA batteries to work. The booklet of instructions is pretty good and shows you how to increase/decrease the volume, etc. You place the unit in the bottom of the sloth and use the velcro closure to secure it. The sloth has velcro hands and feet so you can attach it to the stroller, car seat, bassinet, crib, etc.While this definitely functions, I can't even describe the sound it makes. Make sure to have the volume down the first time you use it as the sound might startle your baby. While $50 might seem a little high, if this helps a baby that constantly needs to be soothed, it is an amazing value.And, even older kids can use this, just remove the shusher unit and it is a super soft stuffed pal.

Okay I was VERY skeptical about this product but I thought if anything, my newborn will end up with a super cute little sloth 🦥 buddy that hangs onto her bassinet. I have tried “shushing” her myself, as well as playing different viral shushing videos for her on YouTube - to no avail, she would still wake and cry every few minutes. I mean this baby girl does NOT sleep, ever. She tricked me for the first 2 week’s thinking how easy she was but now I’m contemplating if she’s part vampire and how she’s thriving being awake 18 hours out of the day. I was staring to get super delirious then… this package arrived! I unboxed the sweet and soft little sloth buddy and stuck the sound machine inside. She was already in her swing starting to cry and as soon as I turned it on, MAGIC! she quieted down and fell asleep. The shushing sound this thing makes is different than anything you will hear on YouTube or can make yourself (replicates sound in the womb) and I think that’s the difference it makes. I am stunned, I am in awe… I might actually get some sleep tonight! This thing is worth it’s weight in gold and I can’t wait to attach it to literally everything, especially her car seat (scariest environment imaginable driving through traffic with a screaming newborn!) as well as her stroller. Get this For your baby, get this for that friend that has a newborn that hasn’t texted you back in 2 weeks - trust me she needs it! Thank you a trillion times to this company!
