These have worked great for our pre-Algebra and Algebra homeschool needs. Love the reusable container that they come in.

This kit has its good points. It has measurements in both inches and centimeters (one of the main reasons I picked it), it’s colorful, and it comes with nice little extras like a sharpener, an eraser, and refill leads for the mechanical pencil. However, it’s TINY. If you’re picturing a protractor with a straight edge that’s six inches long, which I’m pretty sure was the standard when I was elementary school age, you need to think much, much smaller, because the straight edge on this one is only three inches long, and the other pieces of the kit are proportionally teeny-tiny.Furthermore, the molded plastic tray that some of the pieces fit in is the cheapest, flimsiest plastic you can imagine. You’re likely to crush it with one finger while trying to coax a piece out. I just took it out of the case altogether, freeing up some space to hold a few other items. The one in the photo has a block eraser, several eraser caps, and a mini binder clip added. The case doesn’t have room for more than one new pencil, but you can possibly squeeze in a partially used pencil or a ballpoint pen. (But no, you won’t be able to fit in your calculator, molded tray or no molded tray.) So…unless there’s some particular reason you need a teeny-tiny geometry kit, you might want to keep looking.
