So I read mixed reviews about this item. But due to low price gave it a try. It leaked from the top the first few times I drove the car after it was installed. I was going to return it but was not eager about having to take it back off. So I let it be for a few days. Just watch it and add Fluid accordingly for the first week. Then it stopped leaking. There is a rubber O ring in the top. I believe that after a few days the O ring needs to expand and then creates a seal. Prob local weather or temp may play a role in this. So if your leaks give it a little time. I was adding a cup to 1/8 gallon the first few days.

Leaks from day one. Seemed like a good product and fit perfectly. But small leak at the seem. Customer service wants me to send back the tank before they can issue a replacement. This is ridiculous. I'm going to get a replacement elsewhere and just return this one. They could have saved the sale by sending me a replacement, then I could send in the defective one. But they can't do that they say. Bad move Amazon. YOu are going to lose customers soon with all these return hassles.

I installed this part less than a week ago and it is already leaking. It is leaking at the seam between the top part and the tank. It caused my car to overheat and could have caused some serious issues if I had not turned the engine off in time.

This is the worst reservoir EVER. I’ve owned my BMW for some time and have bled coolant multiple times and very familiar with the bleeding process. I wanted to replace my old canister because it was leaking slightly where the upper hose connects to reservoir. Day 2 I went to the store and as soon as I leave I hear a loud pop. I get out and coolant is EVERYWHERE. I jacked the car up to see a huge crack in the reservoir. I wanted to return this one but lost the freaking blue sensor when putting back on my old leaking one.

Bought broken. Once bought, I didnt put on right away. Once I got to working on my car. I noticed this part had a crack in it and the pin was missing. Even worse I cannot return because its past the return requirements. Very disappointing.
