Pretty easy and straightforward swap AFTER you remove the air filter box, battery, and battery tray. See pic.Got this sensor, because the shift points were getting higher and sloppier. After installing it, I also changed the AT transmission fluid - which was really dark brown (should be red). Transmission shifts like new now, but I cannot say if it's because of this new sensor or the fluid change. Honda recommends changing this sensor at 60K miles. Our TL has 78K miles. So...

Strangely, my manual transmission 06 honda element required this sensor instead of the part that O'Reilly's computer was telling me. Quality seemed to match oem and I'm goin on 8 months of use with no issues. If the parts store is giving you the wrong speed sensor for your manual (k24a4) accord or element, this may be the part your looking for.

It just works. I used it on a 2007 honda accord ex v6 3.0l. This is the one toy can see under the air intake and on top of the tranny.
