it seemed pretty strong and worked like it should but when you buy it, its easy to cut with bolt cutters. Not as safe as it should be and not as safe as it looks but its okay for the price

DO NOT BUY THIS LOCK: BAD DESIGN. This lock can easily change the combination you assign it.The one I purchased intermittently changed it’s combination as you’re locking it, so when I came back to unlock it I had to guess the new combination (which the lock has now changed by one digit). After about 20 min I finally stumbled on to the changed combination. I thought maybe was just fluke so I tried it again, and it seemed to work a few times if I locked it very gently. THEN IT HAPPENED AGAIN !!! I spent another 20 min trying to guess the new combination without success and then I had to find a bolt cutter to cut this piece of GARBAGE LOCK off my bike and THROW IT IN THE TRASH, so I could ride my bike back. DON’T LET THIS HAPPEN TO YOU !!!

This lock does exactly what I was looking for: secures my bike to my vehicle roof rack. It was simple to set the combination to a custom number and is easy to use. The colored combo rings seem a bit flimsy but overall the thing appears secure. Honestly it seems hefty and I suspect thieves would be deterred, at least from parking lot theft in my relatively low-crime area. If you live in a big city or high crime area or own a crazy expensive bike, maybe consider paying up for a higher end lock? For me, this one fits the bill.

Bike chains are good for preventing casual theft--you can break any of them if you have the time. I got tired of losing/forgetting the keys, so I'm trying a combo lock instead. Sturdy chain covered in cloth. Easy to set my favorite combo (12345--just kidding). Seems well-built and priced just right. Note that the chain is not very long, and that's just what I wanted.

Bought this to keep our gate locked and keep the dog in the yard. She chewed through our last cable lock. Got this one because of the chain link inside. She hasn’t been able to chew through it, and she has tried.

Perfect for locking up my motorcycle. Mostly just needed the appearance, and this is perfect. Not going to stop anyone who is really out for it, but nothing really would. The combination is cheap and the numbers have started to fall out. Nothing a little super glue can't fix.

Love the different colors for the numbers. Easy to dial too. Nice cover for the chain. Use it to chain the snowblower to our street side deck railing, rather than lugging a fully gassed up machine up 25 stairs to the street each time it snows. Home is built into the side of a hill with no garage. Great Lake view, but lousy in the winter.
