My kid must have put the wrong code in and accidentally reset it, I’m not sure. It was a great lock until this point. I can’t open it, can’t figure out how to reset it, so now it’s useless. May want to consider a different lock if your kid will be using it. It’s way too easy to accidentally reset the code, which I assume my kid did and can’t remember what she may have changed it to. It’s basically garbage now and I’m pissed

I got this bike lock for my best friend for the new bike she just got and she loves how durable and strong this bike lock is. It’s big in size and has a thick material so no one is breaking through it. The combination lock is very easy to use and to set. I think this bike lock is perfect for extra security and just to have as a backup lock if you don’t use it as your primary. I highly recommend this product!

This is a chain lock with a changeable combo. It's pretty easy to change the combination. It's got a cover on the chain to prevent scratching up the surface of what you're locking up. I like the size too, it's not a huge fat chain that weights you down. The fact that you don't need to remember keys is convenient as well. I'd say it's worth the price. It's sturdy enough that you don't have to worry about anyone breaking it but not big enough that you have a hard time bringing it with you in a backpack or wrapping it around your bike or whatever your riding. It's well made. I wouldn't have a problem recommending it.

This heavy duty 3.5ft. long bike lock chain is well designed. It is long enough to form a one foot circle. The manganese steel chain is covered with heavy nylon cloth tube, that prevents scratching. This is a deceptively clever solution to most outdoor security needs. The chain is resistant to being cut by a saw; a shear can start a cut in the nylon but stalls at the steel; a bolt cutter can cut the chain but only puts small holes in the nylon. The over-sized matching five digit re-settable lock is 1.5 “ in diameter and 2” long. The best feature is the reset wheel. It is big enough to use with gloves. It activates with a half turn (and a “click” in the middle) to all but eliminate accidental resetting. The extra large numbers are white on black and very visible in low light. The 5 digit wheel allows for more than 100,000 possible combinations. Easy reset instructions are included. Big enough to lock two bikes. No More Lost Keys!Highly recommended!

I'm always apprehensive when getting numerical locks like these, I haven't had any that weren't easy to crack open. This particular one is a touch cookie. It took me forever to try and break the code. My son changed the combination without knowing and then told me to try and open it, took me all day. If someone is set on stealing your bike a set of bolt cutters or a portable grinder will open this chain like any other, but I'm pretty confident this lock will keep the honest people honest. I definitely feel like I can leave my bike in confidence while locked with this particular lock.

Being the organizer and leader of a large social bicycle club here in Fort Lauderdale one of my main priorities is safety and well-being. Not just for our members but also for our mounts. I have recently been fortunate enough to have access to and evaluate a lot of cycling accessories. We love all the toys and gadgets that can be associated with bike riding. I have been pleasantly impressed with many products being offered by the producer Bikeroo. This combination chain lock is one item I will be sad to see go to one of my club members, but I have committed myself to gifting these items away after use and reviews. First off you notice the healthy heft of this lock. The heavy duty ?iron/steel? chain can be felt and admired inside of the protective super strong cloth outer covering. The length is a bit short at 3 feet but imagine the weight of this thing if it were longer. Still it is fully sufficient. The lock assembly itself is huge with number rings that have a very satisfying click click click when turning. The reset procedure for the lock code is easy to follow. So I am loving it. The reason for 4 out of 5 stars is that the huge locking mechanism is made out of plastic-high strength/high impact plastic-but still plastic. On top of everything else it truly looks intimidating, pleasing to the eye, and everyone else will be jealous. I want one of those!Ride Safe, Ride Strong, Ride happy!!

The bike chain looks nice and neat, and I like that the metal chain is covered in a thick nylon cloth type cover so that it doesn’t damage your bike, or rattle around too loudly. The chain is shorter than I was expecting, but it does the job just fine and fits better around my seat post. Resetting the password is pretty straightforward, though mine did not come with instructions. I purchased another bike lock from a different manufacturer, for testing purposes, and that one came with the instructions, so I posted an image of that with this review. The main concern I have with the bike lock is that the teeth that go into the lock itself is made of hard plastic, like ABS, instead of steel. It seems like, with enough force, it would be easy enough to just pull apart the lock to break the plastic teeth, though I did not try that on mine. This could be a deal breaker for some, as a potential thief may be able to easily defeat your lock to steal your really expensive new bike.

I have been using this lock to secure a couple of bicycles and have taken it with me to use during rides. So far, so good! No bikes stolen! Setting the 5 digit code is easy and I was able to figure it out by just looking at the lock - “set” is written on the mechanism and an arrow clues you to turn the knob. And only after setting my personal code did I discover that the instructions are written on the side of the box!
