I recently found myself having to figure out how to clean pigeon poop off the floors, walls, windows, furniture and fixtures of a home that had been inhabited by a relative who rehabbed pigeons. While this product had decent reviews, I was still skeptical as to just how well it was going to work to get this house clean so people could live in it again without having to worry about what had been in the house before. Just scrubbing with standard antibacterial cleaners wasn't getting the poop off effectively, which sent me searching for something else. Then I found this. WOW. Does this ever work. Spray it on. Let it sit for a few minutes without letting it dry out, and wipe it off. Cleans it completely, and eliminates stains. No chemical odor, either. Amazing stuff. Would buy again if I had birds.

The ingredients in this must be top secret because this recipe is SO GOOD! If you have a pet parrot, you NEED this product. If you miss a pile and it’s hardened onto something or inside of crevices on the birdcage, just let this product sit for a few minutes and it comes off without any hassle whatsoever. It is so easy and it smells good, too. We decant a large bottle into a spray bottle and it is very good for anything that you use it on. I’m so happy to have found it. I need to buy stock in this as my CAG parrot is only 6 years old and a live to be 60-80 years old. We’ll be buying gallon jugs of Poop-off for the rest of our lives. Honestly, NOTHING even comes remotely close to working so well on dried bird poop.

I give this 5stars, it is one of very few that you can actually use to clean cages?, counter tops etc., while your bird is right there, totally smells good and will not harm your bird even while it's wet, been using this for almost 5 years, the plus is that if your parrot decides he wants in on the cleaning , even if they touch it with their beak or feet, it for sure will not harm your companion, of course you don't spray it on them but if it happens, so safe, and it works great for wiping down their perches, gets food off, poop off, so easy to use, parrots get curious and I use it for non parrot related surfaces too, I clean my countertops , floors including it works great on carpet areas also, when your bird has an accident or even if you or your bird spills tea, mmulti use! Hope that made sense, other cleaners you have to wait til it's dry, not with this product, vets and zoo's use this product!!

As I said, I've been using this for years, since the mid 90s, actually. I see reviews saying that soap and water works as well, and that this smells horrible. I suppose the smell depends on each person. The first time I smelled it, it reminded me of the smell in the rest rooms, after they were cleaned, when I was in grammer school in the 50s! I have never found that smell objectionable, so it's going to depend on your personal tastes, as to whether, or not, it stinks. I actually find it pleasant! As for its effectiveness, I've never seen anything better. Does it need to soak with hardened droppings. Yes, and no. I always keep one of their application bottles that has the stiff bristled plastic brush head. With that head, I can brush away even hardened droppings. Of course, that leaves debris in the form of small dropping crumbs. But a vacuum, once the area is dry, easily gets rid of those. It requires no rinsing. Just pat it as dry as possible with a paper towel after scrubbing. And, it's not only handy for bird droppings, it works for almost anything you spill on your carpet. I've never seen it leave any kind of stain, mark, or any other kind of evidence of its use left behind after using it. I highly recommend buying the bottle that has the plastic brush head, and then refilling it from gallons, as that's far more economical.

Poop-off Bird poop remover is a cleaner that all Bird Owners should have on hand! It really does what it says it will do, and that is dissolve bird stains, and it is Non-Toxic. We own 15 birds, 12 Cockatiels, 2 Conures, and an Amazon that have large cages and also large play areas that need to be cleaned on a daily basis along with their toys, bowls and perches. Before discovering this product it took me a long time to get all of the cleaning done. There are some days where it can be messier than others such as accidents on the walls, and/or floors.In the past I tired other bird cleansers but, they either did not work well, or took forever to get the stains out. This item works super-fast! The birds get their floor time every day and they don’t always keep their business on the newspaper, so after a few hours the floors can get pretty dirty. Once they are all back in their cages I spray the floor with the Stain Remover, wipe it with paper towels and the floor is instantly clean! If there is an area that is really dirty, I will spray on the remover, wait about a minute or two, use a little scrubber and then wipe it with a paper towel. I purchased the Spray Poop-Off bottle and now just purchase this large refill Poop-off jug and fill the spray bottle as needed. The price is just amazing on Amazon, compared to what you would pay at the local pet store. I was just at the local pet store this weekend and the small spray bottle was priced at what this large jug is priced for on Amazon. This is a huge savings!Once a week we would take the cages outside and clean them with a hose. Now, all I need to do is just spray their cage, perches, toys and the bottom of the cage when they are all out playing, and clean the mess right up. I spray the wall by their cage, use a scrubber and wipe it down with a paper towel. My husband still takes the cage outside to hose it down but it does not need to be done every weekend. For a deep cleaning I take out everything from their cage and put it in the sink, spray everything with the cleaner, let it sit for a while, rinse and dry. This poop remover has cleaned every area where the birds have made a mess from the floor, wall, couch and their cage. It has cut cleaning time so much, that we now have more time with our, birds than cleaning. Anyone that owns a bird or many birds would really benefit from owning this item. You will be amazed how fast it cleans and how well it cleans.What I like the most about this item and the biggest benefit is how fast it dissolves bird droppings. Even if you have the toughest stains this product will be sure to clean it up. It is Non-Toxic and you can even clean a perch while your bird is in the cage.The smell of this cleaner is better than others that I have tried, but to me they all have a certain cleaning smell. It does cut down on the bird cage smell and leaves the room with a more pleasant smell.I truly feel this item is worth buying because of how well it works.
