Trash. These are straight up trash. All screws snapped screwing them into soft wood. The latch is poorly made out of some sort of cast material. I seriously doubt it’s aluminum. I should have listened to the other reviewers.

The latch itself is ok. I have to remember that it's aluminum and not steel so it feels light in the hand. I thought it was plastic at 1st inspection. I bought it to secure an RV screen door handle from being opened by a small dog & cat. The latch itself seems like it should hold up. I was very disappointed by the cheap screws that came with it. The heads sheared off two of the screws even with pre-drilled holes. I ended up using more reliable screws that I already had. Honestly I'd say spend the extra dollar for 1 steel latch with better screws for peace of mind.
