This was purchased new for our first real tree. We did our research, wanted a good quality stand that would last us and wouldn't rust, not for bottom dollar but not breaking the bank either. Long story short, there is a piece in the center of the bottom that cracked and leaked. Specifically: some parts of almost 3 cups of water, twice a day, leaked out the bottom of the tree stand for over a month on our hard wood floors. The area was covered by our tree skirt. Silly of us to trust the product since this had decent reviews and wasn't $3. Save your money (and your hardwood floors) and do not purchase this product.

This came in such a small box i thought i ordered the wrong one. But i didn’t. It’s great. Small but sturdy. Fit the trunk of my 8ft tree easily. Holds water w no leaks. No risk of rust.Only in year one but expect to have this for a while.

The tree stand appears to be sturdy and was easy to assemble. The next most important thing aside from it standing up, would be it retaining the water that is in the reservoir. Well, that is where the complete garbage headline comes into play. We have a tree stand that leaks all over the floor. Now we have an 8', fully decorated tree sitting in a tree stand that doesn't hold water. So, our tree is going to die before Christmas because we can't water it, or we're going to waste hours of time taking all the decorations off, laying it down in the family room and taking the stand off so we can replace it with a stand that actually holds water as it was designed. I can't give more than 1-star on anything simply because the overall rating should not be padded in lieu of it NOT HOLDING WATER. I saw another review that said it leaked, but chalked it up to an edge case. Apparently that is how it is designed. What a piece of garbage.
