When I placed the ad, it stated “customizable “, like all their other book stamps currently available.The description has been changed since my original review.It did ship quickly, but did not come with instructions or assembly directions.I would absolutely not recommend.

Overall, I found it easy to use this embosser on lighter materials. With thicker materials it was a bit more of a struggle to get a clean image. Many of the smaller details seem to get lost. Someone suggested using a slightly damp towel over the area to be embossed on heavier materials to loosen up the paper fibers to get a good impression without killing my hands. I’ve not tried that on book pages yet as I worry I’d tear or otherwise damage the pages with a water stain, but it does seem to help on the heavy paper I tried it on. Cannot really recommend for someone who struggles with having strong hands. Otherwise, it’s fine.
