If your back seat receptacle(s) sit deep in a recessed cavity, with the top of the receptacle flush with the level of the back seat bench, the Lil Hugger Wrap Around Buckle Booster will not work in your vehicle, we're sorry to say. This is a very common design in Teslas, but it also appears in other vehicles.
Will My Recessed Receptacle Work With the Buckle Booster
Please use the image to the right as a guide to understand if your recessed receptacle will work with the Buckle Booster. Some recessed receptacles have a spacious area in which to move, with room for the Buckle Booster to go around them within the recessed area and still get the top of the receptacle clear of the Buckle Booster. In these cases, the Buckle Booster should work. In other cases, the recessed receptacle is snug in the back seat bench with no room on any side for a Buckle Booster and no way to pull the receptacle out of the recessed groove. If this is the case, unfortunately, the Buckle Booster is not suitable for this location.
Lil' Hugger Buckle Booster Installation
Step 1
Stretch the Lil Hugger Buckle Booster out slightly around the seat belt receptacle you would like to raise
Step 2
Ensure that it fits firmly at the base, allowing access to the (usually red) release button of the buckle
Step 3
Fasten the seat belt with ease!
If your receptacle is simply too tight to comfortably in the Lil Hugger Wrap Around Buckle Booster as you move it to the base, buckle the seat belt in and use the strap as leverage to maneuver the Buckle Booster into place.

The denser version of this same material provides stability for your seat belt buckle and easy access for you! Don't get any ideas, though - you or your kids should not eat or chew on the Buckle Booster. The installer must assess safety.

Hard to get fitted but the best thing ever once setup

These are cheap flimsy pieces of rubber. The slit runs down the entire side and doesn’t secure well to the seat buckle. I would not recommend at all. Buy at your own risk to disappointment.
