Bought it specifically for my S&W 9mm FPC to mount my Red Dot and Magnifier at the right position. Also ability to remove as 1 unit and able to fold my carbine under the Magnifier. Plus Dot and Magnifier lined up and leveled out too.PFC does not have a picatinny rail on /over pistol trigger (lower receiver) and grip. Where scopes, reds are normally mounted.

You'll have to add some washers between the rail and the metal clamp. Otherwise the rail wants to can't to one side. I was putting it on a marlin model 60 and experienced that with just about any of the picatinny rail adapters.

Useful for mounting more gear, perhaps a large scope, I use it to mount, IR,bipod, scope. My location is under the typical mounting location, I enjoy Air Soft so my options for under mounting is limited, this design fixes this.

I bought this along with a few other barrel mounted rails and it works great! I only use it on my .22 so no issue with recoil, for me, but it seems very nice so far.

Great product, ordered and received within 2 days, great for any build that may have an aftermarket forend. I've noticed that quite often there isn't a perfect match in heights from the rails on the upper receiver to the (added) rails on an aftermarket forend, removing the rail on your upper an attaching this rail to the forend easily solves this issue, if needed, it can be trimmed down to fit your specific needs as well. Quality product, I only regret ordering one instead of 2-3.

This rail solved a ten year problem for me. I wanted a full picatinny rail at least 8-10 inches long so I could use a one piece scope mount on my bolt action rifle but all they made was a two piece drop in front pin and rotate the rear and lock it down rings & mounts. Then I came across a two piece picatinny rail mounts but I still had a problem. The ejection port opening was still too long for a one piece mount with rings . Then I started to look for a long picatinny rail to clamp onto those two little rails but still had another problem. The rail slots on the two individual mounts didn't have the correct overall spacing if you put another rail next to the two little ones. The spacing was off about 1/8" of an inch so the locking cross bars under the rail mount wouldn't fit into the two so I was still stuck until I finally found this rail. It has tons of adjustable space for anything you have and the many adjustment is at the rear. The rear locking cross bar slides. You set the rear of the mount about where it needs to be and drop the front cross bar into place and finger tighten the nut. Then slide the rear until it falls down into a slot in the rear and tighten. Make sure that the mount atheist rear locking bar is slid all the way forward on the bottom mount before tightening. It's a tight fight when your done. Make sure to use blue locking and let it cure for at least 24 hours. Great mount. If it's to long just cut it down where it's right for you and use a flapper wheele or drimmel tool on it to smooth the edges and paint the end if you want. This mount saved me from a nightmare situation. Thanks.

RAIL HAS MADE IT POSSIBLE TO CONVERT MY HUNTING RIFLE TO AN AR-10. I HAVE READ PREVIOUS REVIEWS THAT THE RAIL IS FLIMSY, BUT THAT IS NOT TRUE. RAIL IS AS STURDY AS ANY RAIL FOR THE DISTANCE BETWEEN CONTACT ATTACHMENT POINTS. THE EXTENDED PORTION HAS A MINIMUM AMOUNT OF MOVEMENT, MOUNTING LASERS, LIGHTS, OR OTHER LIGHTWEIGHT ACCESSORIES THERE IS NO MOVEMENT. I HAVE MOUNTED A SCOPE ON THE RAIL IN THE LOCATION BETWEEN THE CONTACT POINTS (7 INCHES) AND THERE IS NO FLIMSY MOVEMENT AT ALL. ON THE EXTENDED PORTION I HAVE MOUNTED A LASER/LIGHT COMBO..., NO MOVEMENT!
