Despite what the title states, this does not a factory 2020 Can Am Defender HD8. The factory UTV has the same size and shape brake pads on all four wheels. This set has two different sizes of pads. Do not buy if you have a Defender. I am extremely disappointed since I have already installed and tested the front. Now I am stuck with four pads with which I can do nothing except throw in the garbage. Thanks for the false advertisement.

While I think these brakes are a good replacement there is room to be desired. They take forever to break in properly for good stopping power but by the time that happens they are almost half way worn out. It's been less than 2 months since instal and I'm less than satisfied with them. They might be good for stock machines with tires under 30" but if you go over that you're wasting your money. I went with EBC Brakes for my new set and some rotors because these brakes actually warped 2 of my rotors because you have to stand on the pedal to get any stopping power out of them during break in process and the pressure was too much for my rotors so new rotors are a must. Overall I think they'd be ok for a bavk up set but definitely leave plenty of space between you and the person in front of you.

I was on the hunt for some ceramic pads for my 2018 Can-Am Defender XMR. Shopping for brake pads online is a bit like trying to Google your headache symptoms. You get all sorts of answers. It seemed near impossible to get a solid "yes it will fit" for my specific model.After a pile of research, I decided to try these. I'm happy to report that they are an exact fit for my rig. Oddly enough the Amazon "garage" says it does not fit though so the listing would need to be updated.The pad construction is solid and size is bang on in relation to the OEM ones. The only thing I noticed that was really different was the lack of grooves in the pads. I'm not sure if it's due to these having better heat dissipation over the OEM ones, but there were less grooves in the new pads.I've had these for a few months now and can say that they are "ok". I was hoping to get rid of the brake squeal and they did the trick for maybe the first ride. After that, the squeal came right back. It's unfortunate because my OEM pads would have still been good for another season.The stopping power is about the same as before. I didn't notice if they bit more or not. If anything I would lean on the side of needing a bit more force on the pedal to brake. That is normal for ceramic over semi metallic though.Regardless, these had a great fit and did the trick. They were much cheaper than OEM but we'll see how long they actually last. It's my first time using ceramic for an off road application so hopefully they hold up to the mud and sand that's on our trails.Pros:Great PriceExact fitQuality builtCons:Less heat groovesSet does not include new caliper pins
