This car stereo is one of the few that will work with a Mazda 3 Grand touring with the Bose amplifier and sound system. Very easy to install this and there are a lot of YouTube videos showing how to complete the installation. The only issue I had is getting the steering wheel volume button to work. Still haven't figured that out. But still have the volume control on the head unit so it's not an issue for me. Works great!

Owned for roughly 6 months and now it struggles to connect to my IPhone. Has a glitch where it will just say verification approved but not connect. Would not recommended.

Product does work fine overall, although there is a bit of work to connect the camera including some soldering and, for the Mazda 3 hatch, some additional wiring needs to be added and run through the rear hatch door. The biggest thing that I found disappointing is that, despite the product description specifically saying that the product supports original steering wheel control, IT DOES NOT. Most annoying, particularly when driving at night, as the volume controls on the head unit are not backlit, so you can't see them! At least having steering wheel volume would have helped.

Radio is a bit laggy. Overall it's livable but could 100% be improved.Connecting my PIxel 6a to the radio is a mess. I have both a blutooth connection and also a wired connection incase the first decides to be faulty (which is all the time.) When connecting my phone via blutooth, I find that it has a 75% chance of just.. not properly connecting first try. My phone will display that it is connected to android auto, but the car gets stuck on 'connecting to phone' or some other splash text. The reality is it will be stuck like this forever unless you do a couple things. 1) turn off your car battery, and turn it back on, giving the tablet a hard reset. 2) Connect your phone via a cable (I'll get into why that also kind of sucks), and 3) swiping up from the top of the tablet, hitting the multi-view button, and forcibly closing the android auto application.. just to go back to the main menu, and re-open the app just for it to have another 75% chance of doing the same thing, making you repeat whatever you just went through. I should note, this is NOT an issue with my phone. It connects to blutooth just fine, and says it is connected to my car every time... it's an issue with the radio, or the app itself. Now onto why the cable doesn't work great. Connecting my phone via a USB C cable works fine for the most part, but sometimes I will run into the issue where it will just... disconnect mid drive, despite still being plugged in. The only way to fix this, is to unplug my phone, while driving, and plug it back.. which is something I'd rather not have to do.Basically, connecting to the car radio takes a little bit of time, and patience and doesn't work for a little bit... you really have to look for solutions sometimes. For basic functionality outside of connecting my phone:It works...? It will crash randomly every 3-4 weeks or so, making it hard reset mid drive. This thankfully hasn't happened to me while I've been using google maps, but when it does I won't be happy missing my exit. The screen is just... not great. I don't expect it to work well given its price, but there is a clear pixel burn in on the display which I just find really funny if anything.Mounting the radio is... at best insecure. There are no screw points for this radio to actually... screw into. The original Mazda 3 radio had 2 screw holes that were used to screw it into the actual car... which this radio doesn't have? It gets left being connected by the top part of the center dashboard (you'll understand when installing this radio should you choose to buy it). Some good things:The backup camera is actually the one thing I can't complain about.. it works great and I love it!It's reliably unreliable.. so you can reliably work through its issues. Basically what I'm trying to say is that you can use it despite the random issues (like connecting your phone) just by jumping through random hoops to achieve what you want. .It's cheap... and that's why it might be worth a buy. It works for the most part, except when it doesn't. Writing this review to give proper thoughts from a person who has used it almost daily for the last 6 months.Written on 10/7/24. Will update if I run into any extra issues!

This is the best Chinese Apple carplay stereo I have purchased so far from Amazon.Tons of settings, customization options.Stereo is fast, responsive, 2GB version has a slight delay with changing songs on Apple car play, as advertised. Not a big deal. Harness is plug and play, only thing i had to solder was the backup camera wires.Sound quality is awesome, by default bass is set to off. Turn it up, sounds factory. No auto dim with headlights that I can see, but you can set it so it auto dims at night (based off the time). Canbus adapter works great, steering wheel controls work and can be customized.Overall, this is an amazing deal, I would buy again. Very pleased with it.

I bought this radio after returning another brand because it was slow and hard to set, I chose this one because the software was different and I was right!, the radio comes well packaged with all you need to plug and play on a Mazda 3 car, fits perfect and looks factory, it has CAN interface that allows to control the radio using the steering wheel buttons, most buttons worked without programming, and a couple had to be added at setting up, the wiring is pretty easy as plug everything in, with the exception of having to run wiring to the rear camera, which by the way has an impressing clarity of image. All the settings are pretty simple, I just only wish there were Maps already loaded or on a SD card as connecting to wifi and download them can take several hours, Carplay works perfect and is wireless (wired USB also is available if you want to save phone battery), sound quality is decent just lacking some bass but could be because of the speakers, LCD screen is very bright and good quality, touch response is fast with no lag, allows to load android apps from store but didn't tried yet, overall it has been working for a few months with no problems, a good purchase.
