The Chefman Deep Fryer is very easy to use, and safe if you know how to use it. The only Issue I had was where to dump out the oil when im done using it, and cleaning might take a while. make sure you use the correct oil and the right temperature and time for what youre trying to deep fry.

I've used this fryer for a couple of years now, and mostly like it. It is easy to use and easy to clean. A minor gripe is that the light indicating that it is heating is very dim. But my bigger issue is that the oil temp drops to about 350 degrees F or a little less when just a couple of fish fillets are added. I consider 375 to be the minimum for frying fish - I'd much rather have it run up to 400 than cool down to 350. I haven't used any other 1700 Watt/4 liter fryers, so maybe this is the norm, but I'm now looking for a 2500 Watt/10 liter unit in the hopes that it will hold temp better.

Does the work. Consistent temperature , easy to use . Food tasting good.Ideal for a family meal. It would be nice if the basket was larger to accommodate more meat or food to deep fry.

We bought this to replace a Presto Cooldaddy Fryer (no offense to that trusty little guy—he put in his time), and man was this an upgrade. This has a nice, big fry basket, a fully removable lid, a removable heating element, a timer, and temperature controls.I like that I can take it apart and put it back together in seconds for easy cleaning, which is great because we’ve been doing a cardiologist-unapproved amount of deep frying since we bought it.The only thing I’m not in love with is the timer. When it goes off, so does the heating element. Clearly it doesn’t understand that there will be consecutive frying sessions. So, if you’re like me, I suggest setting the timer for way longer than you’re going to need it and use a different timer (like your phone or a kitchen timer) for your actual cook time.

I been frying in a pot for a while I bought this and I’m glad I did it’s easy to use it keep the oil that the perfect temperature and that’s what you want when deep frying and it’s super easy to clean also take it from me it’s a great fryer and a great price I recommend it.
