Finally I can have clear ice balls for my whiskey. I've been eyeing something like this for awhile and decided to grab this on recommendation from a friend. It's bigger than I expected but you get so many ice balls it's totally worth it. Nothing easier to do. Fill it full of water. Set it to freeze and you're good to go. The material also makes it easy to remove the ice from the molds.

This ice tray is actually pretty amazing. I have purchased others that are very cheap and flimsy and this one is not that way. You actually get perfectly sphere ice cubes that not only look amazing but last substantially longer than five or six individual cubes. Very easy to clean this unit, remove the ice cubes and stack it again as simple and it actually looks cool in the freezer.

So it works. It makes clear ice. The cooler portion is a bit bigger than I expected but the science why it is clear makes sense. The ice left in the cooler is all super cloudy. The 2nd photo compares ice from my fridge. You can barely see the ice ball in a cup of water. I really like it and it seems like this will be a winner when I host friends over.

My husband was super excited to get this as a gift. He drinks whiskey from time to time and the ice is a big deal. He said it was easy to use, made crystal clear ice, and easy to clean. He made 2 "sets" of spheres and put them in a bag to use when needed. Great gift idea!

Works very well and makes perfect clear ice round cubes.For my first batch I used Evian water and kept it in the freezer for approximately 30 hours. That wasn’t quite enough for my garage freezer, it produced cubes not quite ready to come out, still some liquid water left in the mold.For my second batch, again using Evian water, I kept it in the freezer for 48 hours. This time the cubes were perfect. But that is a little longer than the instructions stated, but that worked great with my freezer. I carefully opened the mold then transferred the cubes to a quality reusable freezer bag.Pro tip- After filling it with water and inserting the mold, wait until the unit is in the freezer before fully topping off the water, which should completely cover the holes on the top of the mold. This prevents you spilling water trying to carry and insert the unit into the freezer. Found this out the hard way.Quality product that is very well made, and works well!
