Overall I'm happy with the results. I got this to fix a wobbly mailbox post and it definitely helped, though it's still not entirely rigid.Materials & Construction: It is made with thick gauge metal and the powder coat looks good. I'm sure this will stand up to the elements with no problems. Since it comes with hardware and a hex bit, you'll have everything you need for installation. The dimensions are as advertised, photos included for reference.Installation: Very straightforward install; hammer the metal into the ground, pointy end first then screw to your post. You may want upgrade to better hardware if you need more strength; I sheared one of the screw heads off just using a typical Ryobi drill, see photo. The included drill bits are nice and I'm happy to add them to my toolbox but they are too large for these screws, specifically the drill bit is the exact same size as the screws so there's nothing left for the threads to bite into.Final thoughts: I used one of these to fix a mailbox post and it's still a bit wobbly, I may end up using the other one too. This might work to fix a 4' fence but it's probably too small for anything bigger, you might need (2) of these per post as well.

This 2-pack set of fence post stakes gets the job done, and is more affordable than the competition. I'm recommending this product mostly for its low cost--but I would not call the stakes "heavy-duty steel".
