I was hoping that I could use this to remove Honda oil filters. However, it just doesn't grip well. It's a good idea, but cheaply made. I could not recommend this.

These will get the job done, but fit and finish isn't its forte. The adjusting screw sounds a little rough when adjusting. I shot some dry lube on it and it is working better. The finish of the tool body seems a little dull and rough, not like the good 'ol vice grips that were once made in the USA. But it will do the job.

I bought this to replace a slideout awning fabric on my motorhome. The particular Carefree topper mechanism on my coach didn’t have a hole with which to lock the spring-loaded roller tube from ‘unrolling’. I ordered this tool after watching a video. It worked exactly like I needed it to. There is plenty of jaw to get over and around the tube while it’s in place.Then I used it to loosen an oil filter which is what it’s primarily intended for. Again, it worked wonderfully.
