I installed this in a homemade thinline telecaster. The pickups and the wiring harness are perfect if you're looking for a true tele bark but the neck pickup is also incredibly nicely voiced. The bridge is also incredibly nicely done. I vintage look and a killer sound to go with it!

I took a chance on these. They seemed to be a decent price for a complete hardware set for a telecaster. The control set is prewired with cloth push back wire. They are full size pots and cts switch.The pick ups have string wound bobbins and are wax potted. Look like 50’s construction. Perfect for my two 57 Tele builds.The bridge is a nice custom like side cut ash tray style. Set up for string through OR top load.And to top it off they come mounted on a wooden board in the box.Really great set.

This is not an easy installation for a newbee like me. I thought it was "prewired" but realized I still had to solder things together - which I was not prepared to do. Also, the bridge did not fit my guitar length so I had to go back to the original bridge to keep intonation. So I would probably not have bought this had I understood what was required and more details about the scale length I needed for the bridge. I did get the pickups installed and selector so that's all I used from this package. I wouldn't buy again.

The pickups are petty thin sounding with no low end. For players that don't care about the Pickups sound and this might be ok. I swapped them out. The loaded control plate is pretty good, no complaints. The bridge plate seems to be brass with Chrome which for me scratch off when adjusted the saddles. The saddle barrels seem to be steel with a brass colored coating that rubbed off in my palm the first time I played it. The three saddle barrels also have a spacing issue between the barrels because the barrels are slightly too wide in comparison to the space of the grooves. The spacing of the six strings looks like this * II II II *instead of this * I I I I I I * which makes it seem like you are playing drunk because the strings don't sit equal to each other as they should. I fixed this by filing down the sides of the barrels where they touch each other and the pacing is no longer an issue. The packaging is nice, I used the packaging to make templates to route the pickup cavity and neck pickup hole in the pickguard which is a huge added value because the cost of templates really add up. Considering this is $60 as long as you can roll with fixing the issues or playing with junky pickups its a pretty great value. If the manufacturer fixed the spacing issue and included slightly better pickups this would be a seriously killer product.

These look and sound great. Packaged well and easy to install (if you have some basic wiring skills). The only downside- I wish the knob on the selector switch was chrome.
