Inexpensive and it works. However the procedure is to screw on the adapter to the hose and use the hose to screw into the spark plug hole. I had a problem with removal. while unscrewing, the adapter did not screw out and the hose unscrewed from the adapter. I had a difficult time unscrewing the adapter because the adapter was too short to get my hand on it. I ended up using a long nose pyler to remove the adapter. For my next spark plug, I made sure the adapter is very tightly screwed into the hose. Other than this minor flaw, I still recommend this product. The pressure guage needle held steady and the relieve valve works well

Reads 205 psi when matco and OEM gauge reads 130. Returned coz I thought i got a defective one but new one does the exact same.

I used this to diagnose a chainsaw problem after other fixes didn't fix it. It showed low compression was the reason the saw was hard to start and keep running. The engine is rebuilt and showed good compression before I started it up.
