This is a great set, it includes everything you need. I couldn't follow the instructions though, so I just crocheted my own pattern. Comes with hooks, stitchmarkers and a little tag that says "handmade". Very cute. Love the colors of the yarn. Would definitely order this again for another purse.This review reflects my own unbiased opinion.

I was a bit nervous since it’s my first time crocheting, but the video tips made working with the multi-strand yarn much easier. The end result was neat and tight, way better than the bulkier yarns I’ve used before. It definitely turned out better than I expected!

My wife was getting bored out of her mind and this really helped her pass some time and also learn a new thing to do. It was easy for her to make it. It looks really cute and the quality of the fabric is amazing.

I’ve seen several of these beginner kits, but this is the best so far. The yarn is good quality for the projects and the instructions are very clear, even for a complete beginner. Everything you need is included, and is of a much better standard than most beginner kits. Great value, and a great way to introduce a friend to crochet!

This Gradient Color Doll Tote Bag Crochet Kit for Beginners is a wonderful kit that has everything you need to make and finish this tote bag. The yarn is really pretty and all the supplies are good quality. The bag strap is absolutely gorgeous! I also love the included scissors...they are better than the ones in most kits. This will make a good gift for anyone wanting to learn crochet or for the seasoned crocheter who just needs a refresher lesson. The tutorials are fantastic!

I figured this project would be simple enough because it's a large rectangle. But it's not as beginner-friendly as I was hoping. The video has an annoying computer-generated voice. It is a real-person doing the crocheting in the video, so why can't it also be a real person reading the script? The yarn is a nice colour, but it's not beginner friendly. I prefer the kits with the true beginner yarn that is a single strand, so you can't accidentally insert the hook mid-strand and separate it - the type of yarn included in this kit makes it more difficult to count stitches and is less forgiving if you are trying to pull through a loop that you pulled a little too tight. It also frays quickly if you have to undo your stitches when you mess up. Any kit that doesn't include beginner yarn isn't truly for beginners. Also, the video is one single video, as opposed to broken down into sections. So if you stop when you finish one step and come back later, you have to find the right spot in the video as opposed to other kits where you just have to select the corresponding video clip. Sometimes the robotic narration in the video didn't match what the hands are doing, but the hand match the written instructions. Other times, the written instructions don't match what the hands or narration are doing The narration(and written instruction) also doesn't fully explain what you're supposed to do. It tells you to insert a stitch marker without clearly explaining or showing in which exact stitch, and then later says "you should now reach the stitch marker" and if imdontbreach the marker, I don't know if it's because I did the wrong number of stitches or put the marker in the wrong place.I do like the wooden handle on the hook. The last kit I used, the hook had a silicon handle that kept sliding off the metal hook. So this is a more solid hook.It comes with thread nip scissors, which is a bonus that most kits don't include. It comes with a solid plastic safety cover, which makes it truly portable. They're really handy to have but not particularly sharp, so sometimes it takes a few attempts to snip the yarn.The stitch markers are absolute garbage. They all snapped after 1-2 uses. One even snapped in the video. I handled them the exact same way I always do and I've never had this issue before. I had to borrow from other kits. A kit should include supplies that will at least last to the end of the project!I ended up giving up on the project because of the bad instructions and will use the yarn for something else.

This came with all that is needed to crochet a small purse. The yarn is colorful and a nice quality. The instructions are easy to read and straight forward. They have an explanation of all stitches for a beginner. The scissors are nicer than other kits I’ve gotten. This will be a gift for my granddaughter. I hope it looks as great as the picture.

These are too cuteGreat for beginner as well as advanced crafters. It comes with everything you need. It has the hooks the yarn even the little eyes , This is such a well thought out kit that it comes with the little eyes that won't come off. If you decide to give it to a young child after it is finished knowing that it will be safe. It comes with every single thing that you need right out of the box to get this little animal craft finished and it even comes with two if you want to share as I did. The instructions are easy to read easy and to understand. a lot of fun and a big stress relieving crafts project.You can watch tutorial videos if you need to. lt states that the company offers access to one on one support . It is a very personalized gift, because each one is different in some way or another cuz it's made by you. It doesn't take very long to finish it from beginning to end.
