Inaccurate description. Bought because I thought it was a cover for the OEM moldings. The product does not “Stick Over the Car Existing one Directly.” (From description)

I live in a city with lots of parking lots of various sizes...most of which are too small. The new RAV 4 takes a bit more space than did my old reliable Camry. These are a must and I have to say they give an added subtle sporty edge to the look of the car. I literally put them on yesterday. A couple of things I would do differently...1. Install them with someone. Have someone hold the protector against the car - or if alone, tape it up with painters tape to get the height where you want it.2. Once you have installed the first side of the car measure the distance of the first side done - carefully, and use painters tape to mark both the front and rear of the individual protectors. They look best with a slight incline (as seen in the Amazon add). I eyeballed the measurements and it came out ok, but it would have been much better if I had thought to use painters tape to mark out the positioning.My RAV 4 is red with black trim so the black protectors look great. I will update if anything changes in my view, but for now....5 Stars

I have a silver car with black body side molding and I like it! The adhesive works very well.
