I recently purchased the Reed Cutter for Soprano Alto Tenor Saxophone Sax Clarinet Reed Trimmer Cutter Repair Tool and I am absolutely thrilled with its performance! This tool has made reed trimming and repair a breeze, and has completely transformed my playing experience. The cutter is durable and well-made, and its sharp blades make it easy to trim and adjust reeds to the perfect length. I also appreciate how easy it is to use - the design is intuitive and straightforward, making it a great option for both beginners and more experienced musicians. What's even better is that this tool has helped me save money on reeds, as I can now repair and adjust them as needed rather than constantly purchasing new ones. It's also compact and easy to transport, making it a great option for traveling musicians.Overall, I highly recommend the Reed Cutter for Soprano Alto Tenor Saxophone Sax Clarinet Reed Trimmer Cutter Repair Tool to any musician looking to improve their reed maintenance and performance. It's a fantastic investment that will pay off in spades, and has certainly earned a solid five stars from me!

Easy to use, but does not cut the tip with the same curvature as the tip of my mouthpieces.

I had some cheap reeds that didn't play well, and some that were too soft or had chips at the end. I had hoped to save many of them with this, but I ruined at least as many as I saved because frequently the cut would terminate at the edge of the reed and leave a bit to be trimmed off. Also, the reed will probably be too stiff after trimming. Might be worth a try if you have a beginner who chips a lot of reeds, but not recommended for an advanced player.
