Twenty-five years ago as a defense contractor, I was stationed to Southwest Asia in the middle of the desert with other Americans. I was issued my kit and Danner boots was part of it. Since those days I have purchased and worn a plethora of different brand name boots. A few satisfied and a few that weren't. I travel around the world working with different militaries. These Danner boots are light, breathable, comfortable, and still have a lot of support, and toughness. I recently had ankle replacement surgery and was looking to accommodate my current leg/ ankle situation. I am 100% happy w/ the feel and will probably always go w/ Danner boots.

These boots are worth the cash. I have a job that requires me to wear tactical boots, and these rank among the best I’ve bought. Very little break in time, very comfortable. I cannot attest to durability as I have not had them long enough. Great buy!
