How to Use the Transmission Fluid Diagnostic Test Tool Kit?
Step1. Threads into the same hole where you have your oil sending unit placed;
Step2. Then please remove the oil sending unit or oil pressure switch and thread this in the hole;
Step3. Please start the engine and read your oil pressure.

The gauge is about 4" diameter and easy to read. And the hose is plenty long. But the length of the hose added a problem - turning the fitting into the adapter. Being under my truck, that took some twisting and working it around other components - you know, they leave so much room in engine compartments. I don't know if it is feasible, but a quick disconnect would make it so much easier.My other gripe is that none of the adapters included have any indication as to their size and thread - not on the plastic case that I found nor on the adapter.

Don't try and use it on a diesel.You will experience complete hose failure.Otherwise more than appropriate for standard vehicles.

It's a 500 psi gauge while engine oil pressure is typically below 100 psi. This makes reading lower pressures difficult and inaccurate. You are guessing within 5 psi. Aside from that, the kit is nice complete with lots of fittings.

Large easy to read dial gauge, flexible hose and a bunch of adapters for use on various engines. The case is extruded plastic which should protect the gauge when not in use. Oil pressure is listed in PSI and bar.
