I bought a Dell PowerEdge R720XD Server. It came configured as ordered, and, worked as expected. I did have a ram chip go faulty and ordered a replacement from a different source, however after removing the chip for a day then reinserting it , it has been working ever since. I'm sure the IT Superstore would have sent me a replacement without charging me, but I was so happy with the server, that I chose not to bother them.With that said ... I am gonna order more servers from them, I trust their products.

I was very surprised at how clean these chassis were (I bought two different types)Both were meticulously cleaned, either as advertised or had better parts than advertised. Packaged super well. Zero complaints.

I'm impressed with the value of this server. I was in very good condition (just one of the 12 trays slightly bended), flex bays installed, and everything else ad advertised. You'll have only to sit in front of IDRAC for few hours to do a massive amount of firmware upgrades, but this was expected. The shipping package was also excellent and it arrived undamaged (a quite rare event in my experience when ordering large and heavy items). I could not find anything better with 128GB of RAM installed. Too bad it is now out of stock. Probably the Chia frenzy wiped out all the stores of anything related to storage. It is now up and running again with ESXi.

Everything is perfect aside from the fact that it came with a bad piece of RAM. Thought that would be tested before shipping

I had some issues with plastic internal parts but seller was able and willing to help me with my issues. Server works great shipping was fast over all 5*

I bought 12 8tb drives for this system. Every reboot had a different drive fail. I attempted to updated the perc firmware to the current version via instructions from Dell's website and was told the hardware (Perc H710mini) wasn't in my system configuration.I repopulated the system with 12 5tb drives and again, every reboot had a different drive fail.I've spend about $3k on drives and still don't have a usable server!I ordered a Perc H710 raid controller to replace the defective one that came with the system. It works fine now.
