Cleared the codes. This is the upstream O2 sensor for a Honda Accord V6.

Fixed my car's hesitation issues. Denso is the OEM and this part fit perfectly. Don't waste your money on any other brand O2 sensor.

Cheap aftermarket products are often good enough. Not necessarily so with sensors.

If there was a 4.5 star I'd probably give it that, and the only reason I say that is that starting the threads on the one I received was hard without cross threading. Otherwise It would be 5 stars, and maybe it was limited to the unit I received, but for some reason It just didn't want to grab the threads. After several attempts I was starting to wonder if the thread pitch was different then the original, and kept comparing the 2, but they looked the same. I could screw the original right back in with no issues, but every time I tried this new one, the threads would not start, they didn't look buggered up, just hard to get started or to get it to bite without cross threading, which I was very careful not to do. Finally I wiped the anti seize off the threads tried several times and got it to thread in. I was hesitant but unscrewed it to reapply anti seize on it, and again after several attempts I got it to screw in again. This could have been a isolated incident with the unit I received, and in the end It did fit. The connector fit, although It did not have have the grommet that the original had on the wire that fits into the bracket, but not a biggy, I just sliced one side of the old one and It peeled right off, so I simply wrapped it over the new wire. I didn't even have to tape It as It fit snug, and the bracket pressed on it enough to lock the split in the grommet down over the wire, and hold it on place. The check engine light did not automatically go out as some said they did for them, but I erased the code, the light went out. It's been over a week, and It has not come back on, so far so good, but time will tell. Overall the price was good for Denso, and I'm satisfied as of now.

This review is based on this sensor being installed on a 2000 Honda Civic LX - D16Y7 engine - 1.6L SOHC 16 valve. This sensor is for the upstream sensor location. Installed on 5-14-16 and have had no issue to date. Along with this sensor, I also replaced the downstream sensor (Denso 234-4065) and the Catalytic converter/exhaust manifold (Dorman 674-439). So far, impressed with the improvement of how well the vehicle now runs. I had no issues with the length of the wiring harness or mating with wiring connector (on either sensor). If you plan on installing this sensor into your existing converter/manifold or are replacing everything like I did, there are several informative videos on You Tube that I recommend watching. The videos were a big help. FYI, I also purchased an O2 sensor 7/8" socket and O2 sensor offset wrench for those of you wanting to tackle this yourself like I did.

Worked great on my 99 Civic EX. Engine light was on - I used a cheap $10 bluetooth OBD reader to get the code - it pointed to O2 Sensor.I ordered this and replaced the O2 sensor easily with the help of a you tube video and the socket attachment. Now - the engine light is off and I saved at least $100-200 by doing it myself - this is the only thing ive ever fixed myself on my car.

It was quite difficult to locate this sensor. I have noticed that american vendors do not/have not been including civic ferios (that have the D15B EK3 type engines) in their list of compatible cars. I took a chance and this one works ! This sensor has 4 wires. Two black, one blue and one white. The pinouts corresponds to the OEM, even though the colors were not the same. Its just plug and play. Black(2) is for heater, Blue is for signal, and White is for ground. It even comes with anti-seize compound. IT does not include the rubber grommet that holds the cable in place (mid-way), but you can use other things. IT even looks like the OEM. Quality construction, fits just right. So far so good. I would buy another one at a later date, since my car uses 2. One before the CAT and one after the CAT.After using this sensor for 2 weeks straight and driving at least 100 miles on it, I have have come to the conclusion that using this sensor has increased my fuel consumption. But on the flip side, it has made my idle MUCH smoother and engine more responsive (h/p increase). It does seem incredulous, but I can only report what I have observed. The smoothness in idle has really caught my attention, which is quite an unexpected turn of events. I suppose its a fair trade off, smooth idle that burns a bit more gas - cant win them all !Update: Oct 2012. The sensor is still working like a champ, plus I have been using a lot of intake cleaner to do other maintenance (which sometimes shorten the life of O2 sensors). But so far it keeps on working well. Well worth the money for that price. Dealers price is unbeliveable.Update Aug 2013: still working like a champ. the older O2 heater circuit on the sensor died, so I will install the secondnew O2 sensor this weekend. Great buy !

Check engine light (CEL) had been on for a couple of weeks as I tried to narrow down the real cause. Finally decided it was truly a bad Oxygen Sensor (going on +200K miles). Ordered the O2 sensor on Amazon and received the shipment BEFORE its scheduled arrival date. That was awesome! Kind of a plug and play deal - got the O2 sensor in, CEL disappeared, my trusty Civic once again gets 34mpg. NICE. Denso O2 sensor was a perfect match, no splicing, no fuss. Price was excellent. Half the cost compared to the local auto parts shops (e.g. Autozone, Napa, etc.). Shipping was faster than fast. Very satisfied.
