I purchased this item a couple of months ago to replace the original one that I started using in 2017. I am very careful with my drone, and I could not believe it, the Gimbal cover snapped after a couple of months. I must say a little disappointing for sure

All the stars for this product being just like the original. However it is the second time I buy this gimbal protector for my P4P, since the original item and its first replacement ended up breaking at the holder tips.

The replacement OEM part works perfectly as intended. Obviously you should still be careful not to break the plastic but My drone is very happy with this part. Keeps the camera perfectly locked and bring me peace of mind when I am out driving that the camera is locked into place in my bag. Great OEM part just like the original.

The package I received was a genuine DJI OEM replacement part, which meant that it fit perfectly on my Phantom 4 Pro. Please note that the Phantom 4 DOES NOT have the same camera as the Phantom 4 Pro/Advanced/Pro 2.0 and this will not fit properly. That being said, if you've got a Phantom 4 Pro, Advanced, or Pro 2.0, this is a direct OEM part and will fit exactly the same as your drone's original gimbal.I would imagine that most aftermarket filters probably won't fit unless they're the exact same dimensions as the stock UV filter on the Phantom's camera, so if you're looking for a filter-friendly gimbal lock, you may want to consider a 3rd party option. But if you're looking to replace your lost or broken DJI gimbal lock, then this is the part you've been looking for.

This gimbal clamp replaces one that broke where it attaches to the landing gear. No problems experienced with this clamp as it does exactly what it's supposed to do - however I think the design will fail in the same way as the old one did. at some point. Built in obsolescence keeps companies in business.
