Simply can't give it a five star review regardless of brand. Plastic garbage that breaks every few years and when it does, it doesn't just create a leak, it spews and dumps antifreeze everywhere.

Part arrived on time and fit perfectly . O-rings were included which was great since the local GM dealers have no interest in stocking parts for older vehicles.

This Dorman 902-105 fit my 1996 Chevrolet Cavalier 2.4L. It came with 2 O-rings-- one that goes next to the engine and one that goes onto the metal tube that runs to the reservoir tank. For any 1995-2002 Cavalier/Sunfire 2.4L DIYers...I own two 1996 Cavalier 2.4Ls. Both coolant outlets have failed and needed to be replaced over the years. For my Cavaliers, to do the replacement, in my opinion, it's best to make room to work by removing the air intake hose and moving the power-steering pump off to the side (without disconnecting its hose), and removing the various electrical connectors. For safety, only do this replacement after the engine has cooled to room temperature. The power-steering pump is in the way of the water outlet, so this job is MUCH easier/faster if you remove the power-steering pump by completely removing its two, long 13mm bolts (Don't detach its hose.) Then the pump easily pulls off and gives you much more room to work on the water outlet-- especially if you bungee-tie it off to the side. The power-steering pump doesn't leak power-steering fluid or anything so it's very easy to do.The water outlet is attached with two 10mm (M8 x 1.25, 30mm) hex-head flange-bolts. In order to prevent stripping the head, I strongly recommend using a 6-point (hex) socket, not a 12-point socket.Even if you drain the coolant from the bottom hose under the car, and even if (before you start this job) the water-outlet has leaked coolant until it stopped... When you remove the water outlet & its hoses, about another 12-oz of coolant will come out, so put some kind of a catch-pan below the water-outlet area before you remove it or remove any of its hoses. After reattaching everything (including the hose clamp under the car if you're flushing the coolant that way), fill the reserve-tank with coolant to the “cold” fill-line. It will probably take about 1.5 gallons (even though the whole coolant system supposedly takes ~3 gallons, apparently half of which remains in the engine).Contrary to the Haynes manual which seems to only provide instructions for the 2.2L Cavalier engine (which you don’t have), the 2.4L doesn't seem to have any kind of an air-bleeder screw to help remove any air bubbles that might get trapped in the cooling system. Apparently, it is self-bleeding and so you should idle the engine with the interior heater turned on, until the engine temperature gauge warms up to normal operating temperature (but not higher). Then turn it off and let it cool-- at which time it should self-bleed any air out of the system.

This was a direct replacement for my cavalier ls sport with the 2.4l engine even though the chart said it was not. I check Dorman site which said it was correct. It worked perfectly and came with both seals. Very nice and coolant leak gone.

Worked perfectly in my 2001 Alero. No more leaking coolant! I don't expect it to last forever, as it is pretty much the same that came factory on the car. If you are looking into a long term solution, then look at getting a metal one.
