Sensor does not fit the 97 f250HD. The speed sensor is located on the rear end not transmission. The plus note is the very fast shipment.

I attempted to put this on my 95 PSD and it doesnt fit. Not even close. Pretty sure I have a dana 60 in my rear and thats where these old powerstrokes have there speedo sensors. I think this one fits on the powerstroke that has its speedo sensor on the transmission.I blame most of this issue on amazon. Because when I went to napa I told them the exact information that I submitted to amazon garage and napa gave me the right part the first time.

Did the trick! Wish i had replaced this first before spending $85 on a transmission solenoid pack and dropping the pan.... 254,000 miles they were bound to go out sooner than later so one less worry I suppose... Shifts like a champ now!
