These ACEMIC ST-5 wireless saxophone microphones have been great for amplifying performances. Setup is quick with the automatic pairing and the sound quality is impressively true to my sax. I like the flexible clip-on design, which makes it easy to position perfectly for optimal tone capture. With reliable transmission and zero noticeable delay, it’s a must-have for any performing saxophonist or music teacher.

These are such nice little mics. You can certainly use them on a guitar or violin for example, they are not sax specific at all, but they do say this in the instructions. The build quality is really nice, they look and feel very well made, which for the price you would expect. The clips are nice and secure, and you can be confident they will not fall or even slip during performance.I really like the ease of setup, you just switch on both the mic/s and receiver and that's it, connected! The sound quality is where these shine the most though, they really do give a nice crisp representation of the instrument, with no distortion that I can perceive. They also don't seem to pick up background noise, but then again I haven't used these in a noisy environment, but I imagine from my testing that they would be more than fine to use as a recording device in an open studio.5 stars for sure, I just can't see any negatives here, they are great in use and are decent value for money when you consider the quality.

The dual transmitter setup is brilliant if you switch between instruments or want a backup ready to go. The clip-on condenser mics provide clear, rich sound with minimal feedback, and the UHF signal has been stable with no noticeable dropouts, even in busy environments.Setup is quick and simple, and the mics clip securely onto my sax and trumpet without damaging the finish. The receiver is compact and integrates easily into my PA setup. Battery life is solid — easily lasts through rehearsals and performances.Perfect for saxophone, trumpet, trombone, or French horn players who want freedom to move without compromising on sound. Definitely a great choice for both live and studio use.

Dual UHF Saxophone Wireless Sax Microphone Instrument UHFGood sound, low noise floor, easy to setup, good bell alligator clip, and decent price for dual mics (sort of dual mics but I’ll elaborate later).Depending on where you perform and your level of performance, these mics will serve most people well. You can get better mics at double or triple the price which can be justified if your performance level and/or the venue commands it for the technical aspects.Dual Mic Explanation: This is a Dual mic setup that’s summed down to a single (mono) signal path. In other words, if two sax players are using each of the mics simultaneously there’s no way to vary their volumes at the mixing board, each player would have to be volume conscience and courteous of each other. The best use case for me is to perform on one mic and use the other one as fully charged spare.Overall, the mics sound good, are quick to set up and it can be viewed as two mics for the price of one.

Dual UHF Saxophone Wireless Sax Microphone Instrument UHF Condenser Pick Up Clip-on Mic 1 Receiver and 2 Transmitter System for Saxophone French Horn Trumpet Trumbone,Q2/ST-5If you've used anything like a wireless guitar transmitter system, as I do regularly, then this is pretty much the same but designed for saxaphones and other brass instruments. This set includes 2 clip on mics and one receiver, so if you're in a band that has brass instruments then these are ideal.. well on paper at least.I play in several bands as a guitar player and one of the bands has a saxaphone player, who are set in their ways and have stuck with a traditional mic on a stand for amplification. However I presented them with this system to try out and they were quite impressed and agreed to try them in a live situation. The mic clips on well and offers a decent wireless range of around 20 meters or so before starting to drop out. The connection always seemed stable and there was no noticeable lag.As long as you don't have the volume set too high on the receiver, the clarity is good with no distortion, but crank it up and you have issues, so we kept the receiver volume relatively low and brought the sax up via the PA system and all was good.We don't have 2 brass instrument players so couldn't test the dual mic setup, but from what I could make out this is a bit of a grey area anyway as you cannot separate 2 instruments so would effectively mean that you'd have both instruments playing through the same channel. What's the point of that? Different brass operates at different levels and frequencies so you'd need a different setup for each and with this system you cannot do that.If you have 2 instruments basically doing the same thing then it may work but what band has that?As a 1 instrument setup this is quite decent and you then have a spare mic to use, but as this wireless kit is priced at a pretty high level I would have expected a way to individually separate and mix 2 instruments when provided with 2 mics.So for me, although you're provided with 2 mics this is really a one mic, one instrument setup to get the best out of it, so comes in as a bit of a let down unfortunately. That said with one mic and one instrument the system does work well but is very costly.

What it is: 2 pack of UHF rechargeable wireless instrument mics paired to a single UHF rechargeable receiver. Bell mount designed for brass instruments and saxophones. Features 20 selectable preset channels per mic, pairing LEDs on transmitters and receiver, 130m claimed distance, built in antennas, built in Lithium rechargeable batteries, mini flex gooseneck, wind screens and shock mounts for the mics. Includes zip hard case, usb to dual usb c charging cable, 2 mics/transmitters, 1 receiver, instructions. Why I like it: This is a pretty good short range budget wireless mic system. As a pro trumpet player, I thought I’d put it through its paces. The mic itself boosts the mid range a bit, so you’ll want to spend some time dialing in your tone on the mixer. I’ve found I can use the system with certain mutes (Harmon, bucket with tone holes, careful plunger mute). Does not work as well with straight or cup mutes. The bell clamp works very well on my trumpets and flugelhorn. Trumpets have particularly high SPLs, and I was unable to find a gain adjust on the transmitters. With the mic aimed straight at the bell, it distorts at higher volumes. Offsetting the mic a bit helps, but also changes the tone. A gain control is a must! Setup is very simple—charge the transmitters and receiver, power them both on. They should be linked from the start. Switching channels is done from the transmitters, and the LEDs show an active link. Charge time and run time is pretty good at this price point. Right now, I’m using a single transmitter, and keeping the second unit nearly for longer shows. Range will depend on other frequencies present, as well as channel used and such. Our mixer input is never more than 50-60 ft away, so that works well. Overall, a very simple to use dual mic wireless system for use at shorter ranges.

This package of two mics is priced on the high end in my opinion. You get two mics for the price of two mics. They are not XLR as stated in the description. XLR is balanced and a completely different connector. The connector for these mics receiver is an unbalanced quarter inch phone plug, definitely not the top of the line. In my honest opinion, most people don't care and most listeners don't care. I've seen live performances from all ranges of players and most just plug in a mic into an amp and crank it all the way up. They don't care how it sounds. For those that just don't care or just don't know, this mic set up is ok. It's not bad but it's not top of the line. It will do the job for example if you gig in small venues. For the pro's, I would look for something better. But then again, the pro's already know what to buy. When you're using unbalanced connectors and wireless transmitters you're going to have noise. That amount all depends on your power supply and a hundred other variables. That's why I recommend a rugged power regulator and using balanced gear. But again, if you're playing in small live venues and you have gear that you store in your garage you probably don't care. This mic system is good enough to provide a decent signal and to some it may be a great signal. But if you're a pro and a purist I would keep looking. As far as two mics on one channel, I would probably not recommend it. For example, I play the sax. If a trumpet player came by my gig and wanted to sit in and I gave him my second mic, the trumpet would be much louder than me and it just wouldn't work. I would use it as a back up mic, though.I do like the carrying case and foam insert with cut outs.I would say if you're not doing anything on the ultra pro level, give this mic a try. You may like it. I don't really like the clip, although it seems to work ok. The battery life is good and with a back up mic, you're pretty much covered.
