I have 2 dusty parakeets, purchased to keep dust and dander down. So far is working great. No smell either.

I prefer this to most bedding. It’s thick. Allowing less bedding to fill more of the cage and even let's my rat dig around some. The cleanup is super easy too. Def my favourite

I tried this bedding for my pet rats and I'm very pleased with it so far! My rats really like digging through the bedding and there is almost no dust at all. It also does a great job at tempering any smells. The beddings I have tried before were all very dusty and even caused upper respiratory infections in my rats. This is the first bedding that hasn't caused any significant health issues for them! The one and only issue I have is that the brown color and loose material make it hard to spot clean each day. Despite this, I think the pros far outweigh the cons and I will be getting this bedding again for sure!

THE FREAKING PRICE Y’ALL!!! I KNOW some of you out there feel me on this — IT’S FREAKIN PAPER YA’LL. It’s just ridiculous.. who in the worldddd can afford that consistently?! I saw another seller on Amazon selling it for 9 bucks. I honestly got upset that this seller ‘ripped me off’ lolol but I go to checkout and with “shipping and handling” TWENTY. FIVE. BUCKS 🤣 are you kidding me?! FOR. PAPER?! 💀Honestly gonna see if it says what kind they use cause I’m 100000000% making my own.. investing in a paper shredder on Amazon. And.. a buncha…. PAPER!! 💀 it’s gonna be wayyyy cheaper I guarantee you.Anyways.. rant over 😅 I’m just upset because my guys LOVE this stuff. That’s why it gets 3 stars. Would be 5 EASY if it was just a few bucks cheaper. I can see having a good product and upcharging a bit. But for (do I have to say it again) FREAKING PAPER 😭 anyways.. guess rant wasn’t over lmaoooBut I have teeny buttons and coturnix that, while in the brooder, with their lil pads, I put a buncha this stuff in the corner and they went NUTS! They still do and they’re fully mature! They make tunnels, nests lolol it’s the cutest thing ever. But I can’t afford this 😩 tractor supply has BARRELS of pine shavings for 7 bucks. Lasts forever. And in fact, I was lining their coop with pine shavings, then putting this on top. In hopes it would last longer. Y’all.. when you have quail, or really any bird.. if you’re gonna do bedding and not just a wire bottom, you HAVE to clean it once per week minimum.I tried every trick in the book after using this entire 3lb bag in one sitting. Nope. Can’t do it. No way. They NEED a deep cleaning every week — no ifs, ands or buts. No way around it. This stuff does stay cleaner longer, honestly.I was turning, picking out stuff, (because the bag is EMPTY after just one use 😭) making sure not a DROP of water hit the ground (which is impossible with quail 🥲) and it just did not work out. I gotta pull ALL of it out and have a fresh new bag ready. And I only have 5 quail!Okay….and a few buttons lmaooo but they’re the smallest quail on the planet! They create almost no waste at all 🤣 they don’t count hahah. Idk man I’m salty 😔💔 oh and one more thing! Since I wanna make it myself.. somethin is up with the paper they use 🤔 I compost A LOT. It like.. doesn’t break down. I didn’t purposely get some by my worm but u did.. and it rained.. A LOT.. and it's still there.. idk about to do research but I’m just sayin it's weird lolol

I got it for my rats! They aren't sneezing like they were and the cage isn't stinking up the whole house. They absolutely love nesting with it too! It's a little expensive. I have a DCN cage so I had to use just about a whole bag to fill the cage! It's worth it though.

Best for rats! They like to hide in it and the best part of it is that my breeder females love burying their pups in it. I used to give them newspaper until I discovered this. I also had an issue with ear mites from a lot of the other beddings and now they are completely gone. My only issue is that it does tend to have a bit of dust but it’s bearable

I purchased Eco Pet Bedding to try as an alternative bedding for my rats when I began to suspect that the dust in Carefresh was causing them to sneeze. I'm glad I gave it a try. I've been very happy with the bedding and my rats have been sneezing less since the switch. This bedding is literally 100% dust free, soft, and easy to clean up. It doesn't look very absorbent, but I actually notice *less* odor when using Eco Pet Bedding than I did with Carefresh. My rats seem to like it and will even burrow into it, which they never did with Carefresh. If Carefresh isn't working out for you, I highly recommend Eco Pet Pedding!
