Picatinny cross slots run the full length of the rail, which gives the shooter flexibility when mounting scope rings and other accessories. The channel in the center reduces the overall mass of the mount. Also, in many cases, it will not obstruct usage of factory iron sights. EGW one piece scope mounts are the obvious choice for hunters and tactical shooters alike. This mount is a Picatinny-style base and compatible with Picatinny or Weaver scope rings. We machine these in our shop using one of our machining centers. After machining, the mounts are tumbled, sand blasted, and Type II anodized for long lasting durability

Part seems quality made. I watched a video on YouTube field stripping a Benlli SuperNova. You will need to so you can access the 4 plugs that are in the screw holes. They need to be punched from inside the receiver towards the outside. Then you can mount the rail.Field stripping took the longest. Ordered a Monstrum shell holder to finish it off.

It matched right up. Only issue which was with my Benelli. You have to disassemble the entire thing to pop the plugs from the inside out. Product does not tell you that in instructions.

I had to remove the pistol grip stock from my Benelli SuperNova tactical, then I could remover the trigger guard assembly, complete the stripping, and push the installed protective plugs from inside of the receiver, exposing the rail mounting holes.Rail mounted without issue.

It does not work on2010020105201102011520120of the Supernova. I found the EGW web site and found the listing of ones it does not work on after I received the rail and found it not compatible.

this is a great rail to put on a benelli. I have a super nova and it fit perfectly. It is a little hard to put on but that is the way the gun was made, not the rails fault. For anyone that can't remove the plastic pegs from your gun to mount this rail. Read the guns manual for disassembly instructions and push the pegs out from the inside.
