While this does mute the sound considerably, it also makes playing difficult due the flow restrictions. I find my practice volume is sufficiently muffled using a Harmon mute. If using my Harmon mute the playing flow itself is not overly restricted to the point of being too difficult to push out the notes. I may be returning this and relying on my Harmon mute.
