This is a must for anyone that has ethernet cables to connect there networking equipment. I find that the cable is either way too long or it is too short to reach the plug. This device allows the user to connect two ethernet cables together to get the right length. It is best to use the same type of cable (i.e. CAT5e, CAT5, CAT6) for both cables. This device is rated for the latest cable CAT7 and will support POE devices. If using POE devices, make sure that both cables are rated for POE. The manufacture quality is good and will support up to 10 G Bit speed. It is easy to connect and for me the price point is a good deal.

Had a long run of cat6 break from someone being careless. I put 2 new ends on and spliced them together with this. Working like nothing ever happened.I'm going to order more to have on hand. Works perfect and simple.
